All right. I'll call to order the meeting of the Austin City Planning Commission for Tuesday, April 14th, 2026. Our last meeting was back in November 12th, 2025. Those minutes were in your packets. If no one has any additions or correction, could I please get a motion and a second to approve those minutes as written? I'll make a motion. Second. Thank you. We have a motion from Commissioner Swinson and a second from Commissioner Burroughs to approve the minutes from November 12th as written. All in favor of the motion, please say I. I. All oppose. No.
Motion carries. Those minutes are approved. Our one item for tonight will not be taking place. So I need a motion to continue the meeting to May 12th, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. I'll make a motion. I'll second. Thank you. Have a motion from Commissioner Swinson and a second from Commissioner Bartley to continue the meeting to May 12th, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. All in favor, please say I. All oppose, no. Motion carries. Anything else? Holly?
No. uh only if uh there's any discussion on the comprehensive plan. If anybody can have opportunity to look at it or have access to it, just let me know and I can Well, if you didn't look at it yet, I can tell you there's a lot of pages. 177. Yeah. So, we thought it would be nice to maybe continue it for a little bit longer and then our consultants too wanted to add some things to their presentation. So, so yeah, we'll see you again next month. Anything else? Do we get a So, somebody's going to present to us at that meeting then? There will be a presentation about the meeting and you'll have an opportunity to ask questions. Okay. Um and make any suggestions if you have any
and that we can ask questions as well as the public. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Public here that's interested. I guess when um our county did theirs at their planning commission, there only a couple people present. So, I'm not sure how well attended it'll be, but the more the marrier. You know, I wish we get more uh more feedback from the public. I the process itself did include a lot of public contact. Um so we'll talk about that too. There's a lot in there. Yeah. A lot of good in there. Yeah. Yeah. A lot of good in there. Yep. And following that then do we approve that or recommend to council or
you'll make a recommendation to council. council will uh do will adopt the final document. But I think what I'll do is have you'll make a recommendation and then I'll take it to their work session and we'll have a presentation. I'll present the same thing essentially. They'll have a chance to comment on it and then if there's any changes that have been recommended, we'll go back and make those changes. Um if there's no change recommended or no substantial change recommended then we'll just uh bring it to the council meeting for approval.
All right. Any other business from any of the other commissioners? So that would be that would be the next meeting where somebody would present just like a top line and they're just look looking for feedback, questions, comments and then at that point we would then decide whether we recommend it move to council. Yeah. If there's anything that jumps out at you that you think is does not sound like Austin or wondering where it came from, you know, what the inspiration for it was, anything really. And that's the 12. Perfect. Any other business?
If not, we need a motion and a second to adjurnn. So moved. Second. Thank you. We have a motion from Commissioner Burls and a second from Commissioner Swenson to adjourn. All in favor of the motion. Say I. I. All oppose? No. We're journed.
