intentionally cared for so many in our community. Her career and her life has been a testament of good service to Auburn. She has never, ever neglected to do good, and she's always willing to share her blessings, and she has never asked for anything in return. For all of that, we are blessed. Our next lamplighter is Ms. Shannon Brandt. A spirit that is not afraid. That classic line from the Auburn Creed resonates with all of us who love Auburn University. Our next lamplighter is the living example of a young man who carries a spirit that is not afraid. Originally from Brewton, he came to Auburn as a freshman with a suitcase full of spirit. He immediately made an impact with the Auburn students as the campus struggled through a college experience bruised by the impact of a pandemic. Not allowing that circumstance to dampen his resolve, he inserted himself as a leader in the student support group for athletics, The Jungle. Working with AU athletics marketing and event leaders, our next lamplighter has brought a huge dose of Auburn spirit to multiple sports, most notably Auburn basketball. In his spare time, you can find him covering Auburn high athletics for the Plainsmen. Utilizing the same spirit, he provides an enthusiastic and genuine perspective of the Auburn High sports program. He uses his spirit to help others stand out. The credit is shared with his peers, and he truly enjoys their recognition. Whether at Neville Arena, Plainsman Park, Duck Sanford Stadium, he uses his platform to shed a positive light on others.
