All right, welcome everyone. I am calling to order the Special Utilities Committee meeting. Please rise and join me for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Thank you. And we do not have minutes from the previous meeting to approve. We do not have public hearings or appearances. We have one action item. 26-0933, request to award a professional services agreement with JCG Land Services Incorporated for real estate acquisition services associated with flood mitigation projects in an amount not to exceed $221,500. Move to approve. Second. All right. We have a motion and a second. Director Youngworth, what's your mic number?

Go ahead. Thank you. So this in front of you today is for a not to exceed amount. As we had noted, what we had in the memo was a, I want to call it a menu of options. So this is for up to a certain number of parcels. It could be one, it could be zero, it could be six. As we've been working through engineering feasibility, we have determined that there might be a possibility to optimize some design considerations with some property acquisition. So we felt that it would be important to have a consultant onboarded for that effort, as they are the expertise parties in that. And again, this is just for the potential for that to occur, not saying that it's going to happen, but if we were to have to proceed with any of that, it would be back to committee for consideration.

Thank you, Chair. Might I direct to Director Youngworth? Yes. Director Youngworth, I am assuming that this is only acquisition services, has nothing to do with the actual payment for acquisition of any properties. That is correct. And secondarily, where are the budget funds for this?

The stormwater utility. Excellent. Because they are flood control-related projects. Thank you.
