Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

Wednesday, November 12th, 2025. Uh, this is the regular meeting. Um, I will go over the guidelines for public comments. City of Aken Planning Commission meetings. Meetings are public forums in which many opinions are expressed in the business of the city must be conducted. As such, discipline, honorable, and professional decorum is paramount. Courageous and respectful communication is required during public comment periods of the meeting. All questions and statements from the public shall be directed to the chairman. If you wish to speak, raise your hand. The chairman will recognize you. Please approach the podium and state your name and address. In order to allow an opportunity for everyone who wishes to address the commission, speaker should limit their comments to the agenda item or the application being discussed. Each speaker will be given five minutes to address an issue. I may only address an issue once unless questions from the commission are posed to the speaker. Uh we will start at item number one, the approval of the regular meeting minutes for October 14th, 2025. Do I have a motion? So moved.

Okay. And then the minutes approved. Uh we do not have any old business. So we'll get straight to the single application that we have tonight. This is application A number 26-60000002. This is a request by car Kardasha Kardasha LLC to reszone 3.5 acres from Light Industrial to downtown business along Richland Avenue East, Marble Street Northeast, Orangeburg Street Northeast, and Barnal Avenue Northeast. tax parcels number 121- 06- 08-001 and 121- 07-10-002. Is the applicant here tonight to discuss this? You have anything that you want to present to us?

You don't? I don't. I have a preliminary plan, but I don't think this is really Yes. This is just a um based on Yeah, this is just a reszone. Okay, questions for the applicant. Okay.
