Discussion on the need for additional stop signs at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Locust Avenue due to safety concerns raised by residents and the ICARE neighborhood association. A petition with 215 signatures was submitted requesting two additional stop signs for eastbound and westbound traffic on Locust Avenue. The committee discussed the issue, including concerns about speeding, parking, and visibility at the intersection. The Mayor and committee agreed to prepare a traffic order and additional signage to indicate the new traffic control devices.
