Hello, I'm Bob Reynolds, Mayor of the City of Worcester. People often ask me, what makes the city so special? Is it our world-class industry? Our historic downtown? Or the top-tier educational facilities? The truth is, it's all those things, but mostly the people that bring them to life.

Worcester City Schools is such a special place. It's so interwoven into our community. Worcester City Schools offers a real diverse range of educational opportunities. We have college credit courses. We even have a couple of options in welding, fabrication, and also health technologies where our kids can get a skill that they can utilize right after high school. We offer a lot of kind of additional sports such as swimming, lacrosse, gymnastics, bowling. a great band, choir, and orchestra. It still has that small school and small town feel, but with big school and big town opportunities.

From our quiet, tree-lined, historic neighborhoods to our vibrant new developments, when you choose to live in Worcester, you're choosing to live in a community that values stability and safety.

Welcome to my neighborhood. I've had the pleasure of living in Worcester for the last 11 years. Worcester is a connected, vibrant community and a wonderful place to raise children. Whether I'm shopping locally, heading to Oak Hill Park to meet a friend, or going to my favorite class at Flex Yoga, I am always greeted by friendly, familiar faces.

We're surrounded by great people with good work ethics, and we've been blessed by those folks for generations here at Worcester Brush, and we don't think that we would have been around 175 years without the partnership of the City of Worcester.

In Worcester, we work on a global stage. We're a micropotent powerhouse, home to industry leaders in agriculture, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Worcester Community Hospital is an integral piece of the health ecosystem in Worcester and Wayne County. We're a large community hospital that has a wide breadth of services, including an outstanding stroke program, an outstanding cardiac program, and women's services second to none. We have an oncology program that we do in partnership with the James Cancer Network. We think that we are able to help our residents have the full suite of healthcare that they need.

Whether you are an entrepreneur starting a boutique downtown or a scientist at one of our higher education institutions, Worcester provides the rich ground for your ambitions to grow.

Studying at the Ohio State College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences Worcester campus offers students a distinctive experience that blends the depth of a major research university with the access, experiential learning, and community connection of a smaller campus. with more than 3,700 acres of living laboratories that include farms, greenhouses, barns, shops, and advanced research facilities. Students worked on projects that matter locally, statewide, and globally.

At the College of Wooster, we believe that curiosity is our curriculum. We prepare students to make a difference in the world. College of Wooster student graduates move on to the top companies, professional and graduate schools in the country and around the world. They are ready and prepared for wherever life takes them.

But we also know how to play. Our downtown is the heartbeat of the county, a place for dining, unique shopping, and community celebration.

Everybody wants to be in a community that's exciting and growing and looking to see what's new and looking to invest in other opportunities across the board. There's a huge reason as to why my husband and I have decided to raise our children here and invest in this community. It's because it's so much more than home. It's where your heart is so happy. It's exciting. I love watching every year. You know, you get excited about spring. You get excited about all the summer events and just seeing what's coming and what's new and Christmas and winter here are so fun. Those things, I think, are something very unique that Worcester is one of the only places that really offers that and embraces it.

From our ever-growing downtown to the trails of our hundreds of acres of parkland, there's always a new corner of the city to explore. Worcester is a city that respects its past while boldly building its future.

As someone that lives and works in the city of Worcester, I can say that our city is built on genuine hospitality. Whether you're visiting for the weekend, enjoying a night out, planning routes here, I think you'll find local businesses, restaurants in our community that are inviting.
