So John Corrigan, known as Jack and Natalie, the next appointment I'm asking counsel to confirm are assistant law directors, but they are labeled as municipal prosecutors. They are full time over in court covering the municipal court docket criminal dockets. Pardon me. Natalie helps with some of our meetings in the evening planning and sometimes BZA. I'm not certain how often she's at those meetings.

I'd ask by the way, these are all part time positions. Mister Leveque and Del Reigno, mister Veloury Corrigan, and Natalie are all part time positions at at the law department. We are one of the few cities that have a full staff within an engineering department. And Mr. Smolik has been with us for many many years and he had to deal with mister Kelly when mister Kelly was director and he's done it very well.

Paula Horner is our director of recreation. She probably has the largest number of employees of anybody in the city although many of them are part time but just because they're part time doesn't mean it's any easier to work with all of those many people but the good news is we have a very good staff and we make sure that our recreation center is the best of the best and if you've gone to it if you happen to have gone to in the last couple days you know that the New Year's resolutions are underway even at five in the morning. So I'd ask that counsel confirm her appointment as director of recreation.

Donald Graham is our director of inspections often referred to our building department department head. He is now the longest serving department head that is here in the city. He takes that with pride. And the good news is he's able to resolve many issues that come up within the city even if it's not in his department because of all of his expertise and his ability to work with other directors as well.

Lydia of course is our director of community services and she brings a lot of joy and excitement to a lot of people that attend the facility there. And they are very well they are very welcomed with the great staff that she's put together there and I think anyone who's encountered someone who's visited the community services would recognize that the people that go there continue to go back and back and back because they love it so much and it's a great facility and we've got a great staff as I pointed out under Lydia. So I would recommend that counsel confirm her appointment.

I think everyone knows Kim Bedell as our director of planning and economic development. Obviously anytime a development plan comes into the city of Westlake it usually goes to his department first and he gives some recommendations in many cases to make sure that we even get a better development plan than might have been originally introduced and he provides us with updates on the zoning code as well and he's been a welcome addition to the city of Westlake and I would recommend that counsel confirm his appointment.

A very short report. We have many items that we want to get accomplished this particular year. So we're going to continue to meet the needs of the community and we welcome any concerns that anyone might have to bring to our attention that we may not have been addressing. It's a new year we've got a new budget but it doesn't mean that we've incorporated everything that needs to be addressed so I would encourage any councilman if you hear anything from your particular ward to let us know and while I'm saying that keep in mind that all of the directors that you just confirmed are always available to you at any time at any time of the day pretty much if you need to you can contact them and get any information that you might need. And the next thing is, which council has already done, I was requesting a meeting to discuss an individual in the city of Westlake that would like to make a substantial contribution perhaps to improve an existing building in the city of Westlake and perhaps build a new one.

And we'll we'll go through the committee meeting assignments I mean, a meeting schedule. We're in the committee of the whole standing report. Thank you, mayor. Reports of administrative officials. I'm not aware of any. Reports of standing committees. We just have the committee of the whole meeting. Westlake City Council Committee of Whole met this evening at 07:30PM. Present were council members Greenspan, Van Dyke, Nenari, Del Rego, Leveque, Havalka, and Getsay. Also present were mayor Clough, law director Maloney, directors Summ, Smoll, Corner, Bedell, Cerber, Stival, Graham, Gad, chiefs, Belos, or Moran, and clerk Rosenbaum.

Discussed for agenda items like the correspondence as well as the the discussion of filling the planning commission vacancy, which was vacated by the election of council member. Reigno. We did set two committee meetings. We set scheduled a PZL committee meeting for January 20 at 06:30PM and a public grounds buildings recreation committee meeting the same evening same evening at 6PM, and that meeting was to discuss the citizen donation to construct facilities that the mayor just referenced. We did go into executive session at 07:42 this evening to discuss pending litigation, collective bargaining, and real estate.

That roll call, that roll call vote was unanimous. Present were the mayor, law director, and mister Biddell for the real estate portion only. That meeting began at 07:42. Mister Biddell left at 07:56, and the committee the executive session concluded at 08:28PM, and the committee of the hall adjourned at 08:29PM. Reports of other committees, we have none. Legislation, we have three items. All three items are up for first reading suspension, adoption of the suspension of the rules. Dean Getze? Yes.
