Public Art Committee Little Art Gallery Update

Information: The Public Art Committee would like to present the updated artist display for the Little Art Gallery. The Little Art Gallery Display, located under the Waxhaw Water Tank, will feature paintings by artist Rupam Varma for a display period of 3 months.

Consider Adoption of Ordinance (ORD2026015) Amending Capital Improvement Plan Fund

Information: This ordinance amends the Town's Capital Improvement Plan Fund to properly account for and assign funding for long-term capital projects. It authorizes the Finance Director to place $237,783 in Capital Improvement Plan Fund 403 for the Marvin/Bond Grove Project and $235,361.36 in Small Transportation Fund 385 related to the NC 16/Bond Grove signal project, and to assign the identified revenues and expenditures to the appropriate projects. Recommended Action: - MOTION to adopt Ordinance (ORD2026015) Amending Capital Improvement Plan Fund, as presented.

Consider Approval of FY26 Budget Amendment BAM-013 - Year End True Up Budgets & Projects

Information: Staff is recommending approval of FY26 BAM-013 which adjusts budget lines and cash balances. This adjusts departmental expenditure balances to show with a positive balance, as well as to allocate cash/revenue to Grant Project Funds 295,402 & 473 as previously budgeted. These Grants/Projects are now complete. Recommended Action: - MOTION to approve the FY26 Budget Amendment BAM-013 Year End True Up Budgets and Projects.

Consider the 2026 Slate of Candidates for Appointments and Reappointments to Waxhaw's Advisory Boards and Commission

Information: The Organization Advisory Board met, reviewed and conducted interviews with 17 applicants interested in serving on Waxhaw's Advisory Boards and Commission. All five (5) advisory boards have vacancies with a total of twelve (12) term and mid-term positions. Staff is seeking approval from the Board of Commissioners to adopt the 2026 Slate of Candidates for appointment and reappointment. Recommended Action: - MOTION to approve the 2026 Slate of Candidates for appointment and reappointment to serve on the 2026 Waxhaw's Advisory Boards and Commission.
