Item number one, discussion and possible action on approving a conditional use permit for 9033rd Street First United Methodist Church to allow for the use of their basement as an emergency shelter uh night shelter for the Wasaw PD. Would entertain a motion. Move to approve. Motion from Larson, second from Watson. Any discussion? Mr. I'm just wonder um question regarding whether the motion is going to include the uh staff recommendations. Staff recommendation. for. Um there's issues with the building in a long-term use that they'd have to address c with significant costs. So um we're we're recommending approval. We also recommend this time limit. We also want to know by November 1 of 2025 whether they have a different location or if they're going to try to move forward with this because then we'll review what's happened in the neighborhood and they'll have to address a lot of the building concerns.
