always good to be here good to see y'all uh yeah this is the uh final plat on those seven lots are out on Markham Street and uh met with staff the other day uh there was one thing that Bruce wanted he wanted a little sketch showing the uh a couple of sewer Services which we uh provided that to him so unless there's something we don't know about I think it's ready to go okay and that was what you're talking about is the grinder pump for six and S okay yes all right and that's taken care of Bruce or you're happy with it okay and I brought the bill of assurance that it was corrected since that meeting staff meeting as well okay perfect all right any questions from the board this is the same plot nothing's changed since we approved the preliminary last month is the Bill of assurance in with this plat here because I have a question about it would you like to look at it no I've got we've got a copy of it okay but only thing it didn't mention anything about mailboxes this updated okay how do y'all want it done no you can do it different ways what well uh that's a good that's a good find B BJ when he built my house they wouldn't do anything about mailboxes postmaster wouldn't even deliver mail even if I had a mailbox there so there's it's more than just a postmaster it's there is probably a could be a fight between the postmaster and the Builder because that's what happened to me well actually uh Jay Kong is here tonight he's actually going to be the Builder on these slots uh you'll get with the post office and get out worked out whatever needs to be worked out yeah I'm willing to do whatever they if they want cluster single mailboxes they want a match yeah my thought was I

was going to do brick but um we'll kind of see how it lays out you know what whatever y'all do I just want didn't see any information on it that's we we kind of here lately we've kind of stopped putting information about mailboxes on there you can go to five different towns and the postmaster oh I know yeah that's what I'm saying yeah so just like hey go see the big man yeah I uh I kind of copied this bill insurance from hden Valley and BB if that helps now I didn't see one in there that's why I didn't include it but uh I can get with them on that my question in reference to that is is there going to be a cluster mailbox for phase two and would these be included in that if it if it is built in the future I was not planning on ever doing a cluster maal box uh so each house will have its own box yes ma'am okay all right good luck I I was going to say and yes but you're right you got caught in a spitting contest I did that the city had no part of that's correct um but we are and I believe the Udo we've even modified that sum to include a pulloff area for cluster mailboxes because the word to us is there won't be any subdivisions done anymore with single mailboxes so um so we probably do need to address that that got passes the staff review I'll admit but uh um even if you even if you uh put the boxes for these seven houses in a designated area on your next phas we might might look at doing something like that I don't know but I guarantee you she's going to want the cluster boxes I guarantee that too yeah you're right good good find yeah a lot of trouble the W just list off for the postmaster is that where they want cluster you just go to the Post off talk to them take some take something flowers or candy or something I I have another question a

privacy fence is just is not required right correct okay all right uh I had a question give me a second I lost it you're too young to have Senor moments apparently I'm not um it was about the mailboxes all of these houses are going to have uh driveways out onto Markham right yes so the mailboxes will just be next to the driveway like in typical building can we have that on the site plan is that is that something that needs to be on the site plan staff or to my plot plan yeah well the you know when you do the where the houses are going to be positioned on it we generally don't put them on there so is it okay for us to approve a final plat without any mailboxes on there it's not in our code that we have to right there's nothing in our order State they have to have a mailbox period so and she might there's nothing there's nothing in our ordinance that says they have to have a mailbox period so so we I think we could do the final without don't you brce um but she might let these seven houses go with mailboxes because they're already delivering up and down Markham Street uh for the houses on the opposite side of the road so it's possible they may have to put them on the other side of the road like some streets have all the mailboxes on one side of the road that's possible okay um but she might let them go ahead and do individual mailboxes over there I don't know but again that's that's strictly on the postmaster the city has nothing to do with mailboxes where they're at anything that'll hinder us from voting no no ma'am okay good all right thank you all right are there any other questions from anybody if not I'll entertain a motion to approve the final plat for the phase one of long addition motion to approve the final plat

second all those in favor I any oppose okay motion pass very much all right and our second item on our new business is phase two of the long Edition the preliminary plot for this one uh yes we met with STA and uh about a week ago wasn't it was it about a week ago today wasn't it didn't we meet on Monday how time flies and uh they had a few comments pertaining to uh the one is up size of 4in waterline to a six on long drive moov two of the hydrants Out close to the road which we have done Bruce wanted us to add a manhole between Lots 18 and 19 which we have done and uh also Mike had wanted me to remove any mention of uh straw bales right in our Swip so we took that out and replaced it with Waddles and or silt fence so we got that taken care of so uh I believe we've got everything addressed unless there was something that we missed at that meeting okay um did you move the two hydrants yes did you mention that two Hants let's see So staff's Satisfied with what y'all have now yeah Michael's not here but uh he did say that he still needs a u storm water yeah we y we're working on that of course we still got to submit this to the health department as well so you know there's a couple of approvals where you're still yet to get but adq is one of those that we are trying to get uh my daughter has been the doctor say she doesn't have the flu but by Godly she sure's got all the symptoms and she's been homick for two weeks I'm hoping

that she's back to work this week and she can finalize this and get it sent off she's my Swift expert okay all right um I did for the planning board um I did ask about the lots that are in the flood is it area not flood zone or flood plane yeah it's not in the the closest flood area it's in the I can't even remember what I can't see what it says it's in a Zone AE of the flood zone which means we are allowed to build those up right so I had in case y'all had questions about those that dotted line through there I had I question them about 28 35 and 29 through 31 and they are allowed to to build those up some and they plan on using the excavated dirt from the road that they're putting in to fill those up so that's how they'll take care of those if you had any questions about that and with f it's kind of like what comes first the chicken or the egg we cannot make final submission to FEMA to get those lots removed until you have approved a final plat and the final plat SWAT comes in after we get through with construction so it's on our checklist to do but we can't do anything until after get the final plat done and is there any chance of them not approving that no I can't I've never seen them not approve one okay if we're in the flood way there's always a chance they could say no but we're not in the flood way okay even if they did uh you know not approve it they would I believe more or less would just have to have flood insurance on those correct they can still technically build there okay all right good just making sure you wouldn't have to come before us again with another plan if they didn't or you know you just never know so true all right any questions from anybody okay I'll entertain a motion to approve the preliminary plot with the notes from

staff so be it second all those in favor say I I None opposed okay pass thank you very much appreciate it okay sorry to keep y'all so long okay so that concludes our new business uh announcements I do have um I don't know if y'all were able to look at the email from the mayor for the Udo um timeline but we will be uh hopefully moving forward with those dates um that he sent to uh run a ad in the in the leader um in February for the public hearings that will be in March so hopefully that will all uh we'll get some good feedback from the public and and be able to move forward on getting that approved for the city uh we also have uh February 1st the city hall yard sale from 8: to 2 uh February 5th City Avo blood drive will be from 10: to 1 at City Hall on the 17th the city offices will be closed in observance of President's Day and the city council meeting will be at 6:30 on the 18th our next meeting will be on the 24th at 6:30 here any comment or questions or concerns from the forward before I adjourn if not I'll entertain a motion to adjourn motion we adjourn all those in favor say I I all right
