Board of Selectmen - Special Meeting

good afternoon. Today, we're calling a special uh board of selection meeting for the acknowledgement of S. Sandra Peladin. And we'd like to open the meeting with the pledge of allegiance. I pledge algiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Okay. Now, on why we're here today, can you please step up, please? S. The town of Allentown and the public library extend its deepest gratitude to Sandra Pelington as she steps down from her role as chairperson of the library board of trustees for an incredible 46 years. Sandra has been dedicated generous supporter of the library, her commitment and devotion having a lasting impact on the library and the community it serves. Thank you, Sandra, for your many years of service and for all you have done for the voluntary.

speech. Okay, thank you. I I'm not with many words. Texas makes me very uncomfortable. But it was my pleasure serving on the board for so many years and I'm a reader. I love to read and I'd like that other people are have the opportunity to come to our wonderful library and choose the books they want to read and read them and return them and it's been a pleasure.
