City Council - Special Meeting

All right. Good afternoon slash evening. I'm going to go ahead and call to order our special meeting of Vallejo City Council at 5 p.m. And I'll ask our clerk to conduct the roll call, please.

All right. Thank you very much. We're going to go ahead and open up public comment on our closed session items for anyone wishing to address the council this evening on items on this closed session agenda. And while that timer rolls, I will ask our city attorney to announce our closed session items.

Thank you, Madam Mayor, members of the Council. The City Council will meet this evening in closed session with regard to the following items. Item A, liability claims, Joel Catham versus the City of Vallejo, pursuant to Government Code Section 549-56.95. ITEM B, CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957.6. THE AGENCY DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE, STEPHANIE SUFUENTES, HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR. THE EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS ARE THE VALLEO POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION, THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS, LOCAL 1186, CONFIDENTIAL ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGERIAL PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION EMPLOYEES, AND UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES. Item C, conference with real property negotiators pursuant to government code 6 or 54956.8. The properties are the APN numbers as listed on the agenda. Negotiator Gillian Hain, assistant city manager. The negotiating parties Mark Tomko, Vallejo Flood and Wastewater District under negotiation price and terms of payment. ITEM D, CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8. THE PROPERTY IS 50 SOLANO. THE AGENCY NEGOTIATORS NEGOTIATING PARTIES AND THE ITEMS UNDER NEGOTIATION ARE THE SAME AS ITEM C. ITEM E, CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL EXISTING LITIGATION PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9 . THE CASE IS YAGER VINEYARDS LLC. versus the city of Vallejo, Superior Court of County of Napa, case number as listed on the agenda. And item F, conference with legal counsel existing litigation pursuant to government code section 54956.9 , the cases are American Canyon versus Vallejo, Vallejo versus American Canyon, Vallejo versus American Canyon. times one, two, three. The first four of those cases are in Sacramento County Superior Court and the last in Marin County Superior Court. Case numbers as listed on the agenda.
