Start free trialRESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH ESI EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE GROUP FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING EMPLOYEES WITH AN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, in continuing an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), the City will benefit from the program and benefits offered by the vendor designed to provide 24/7 counseling services, work-life resources, wellness resources and peak performance coaching and training opportunities for employees and their household members and dependents; and WHEREAS, the cost to implement this system is $24.95 per employee per year for approximately 550 employees and funding is available in the Personnel Department Budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the Mayor to enter into a contract with ESI Employee Assistance Group for a term beginning on January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028, with an option for two (2) additional one (1) year extensions upon mutual agreement by both parties.
