All in order. On the BFE Commission, Officer Hubert Kerr was officially sworn in on Monday, May 18th, and is currently in field training. A conditional offer was given to another applicant who is currently in the background phase of the employment process. which is great. And then last Tuesday, they hosted the winners of the Mason Ridge Elementary VIP Police Experience, providing a tour, demonstrations, some VIP giveaways, and donuts before giving them a police escort.

thank you sure but we did not have donuts at the commission for parks and trails but we had some other good stuff so the parks and trails commission has completed and approved the updates to the trails pathway plans part of the city's comprehensive plan that plan is now being prepared to share with the public works commission so they can look at the funding and there's just June. Griffin and the Gargoyles will perform on June 12th. Hub and the Heavy Arts will be playing on June 17th. That second one is a rescheduling of their earlier concerts, canceled due to weather. Both concerts will run from 7 to 9 p.m. and will also feature food trucks and shuttle service. The city bank sponsors People's National Bank, Aldon Heating and Cooling, T-Mobile, and many of St. Louis. Full details can be found finally we also invite the public to come to the next parks and trails commission meeting on june 15th at 6 30 at longview horn house thank you the next meeting of the architecture review board is set for

Old business will include an architecture review of 12327 Wildlife Trail. It's a new single family home. Excuse me, that's old business. New business will be an architecture review of 12921 Topping Estates, new single family home. Another architecture review on 137 Pebble Acres Court, new single family home. Another architecture review of 1, 2, 3, 4, 3 wildlife trail, another new single family home. And then we have another architecture review of 1, 2, 3, 3, 1 wildlife trail, a new single family home. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. The Planning and Zoning Commission met on Wednesday, May 20th and acted on the following items. A conditional use permit for a residential driveway gate at 2001 South Mason Road. The recommendation was unanimous. A conditional use permit was also requested for a group home at 541 South Mason Road. That was also recommended to the board. baseball fields also approved eight to zero and then a boundary adjustment flat to adjust terminal open space at 13743 belcrest and that was also a unanimous decision to recommend to the board the next meeting of the planning and zoning commission is scheduled for wednesday june 17th at 7 p.m thank you only as i mentioned to the board we'll be sending out a formal announcement

citywide, but we did hire a finance director, so we will be sending out more details, but we're very excited, and they're scheduled to start June 22nd. Thank you.

I had a question. I'm not sure who to ask. There were a whole lot of numbers in the attachments there. I assume the $61,000 number was the one that we're actually voting on today, right? But is there something attached to that? Like we get money back from county or state or something if we vote this in?

Either Ann or Todd, I believe Yeah, that the grant reimbursements to 23,000 of the 61, but we're going to get 23.

38% of this particular phase. So the grant is only covering just shy of 40% of this particular element of the project. The grant in total is for 50% of the project. So by taking Porter and Shiffrin's proposal and paying a little higher,

I don't know, Ann, are you familiar with that portion? Or Todd?

We won't be sacrificing any portions of the grant. The grant is a set amount. And so the engineering services are a little higher than what was set in the grant. Then we have to make up the difference.

Okay. So even though the grant calls for 23,500 to be dedicated to this particular phase of it, it doesn't harm us in total.

budget for this? We knew that it was going to be the dollar amount for Greenwood Group, and now we're going to spend another $6,000 for switching the contract. Did we budget enough to cover that, or are we now going to have to find funds to cover that?

It's my understanding, Todd, that our projections are we have enough in the budget to cover it. Correct.

Yeah, I just wanted to mention that because we're not meeting the second meeting in June, that means that all the people have to get theirs in by the first meeting in June. i know that we have several businesses that are notoriously last minute even past last minute so i encourage whoever is the one who calls them and reminds them to let them know that they can't put it off for us

we've been on it probably since march so the board honestly i said it's an aside but the board didn't change the code over the last couple of years to add those late
