All right. Well, happy May Day, everybody. Welcome to this special governing body meeting on May 1st, 2026. I will begin with asking the clerk to take roll. Mayor Duncan. Here. Council member Hiller. We have one item on the agenda. With that, I guess I'll turn over to city clerk, or I mean, I guess I'll turn over to the city manager, who may or may not turn then over to the city attorney. We'll all leave that up to you two. Um, thank you, Mayor. Uh, so, we do have, uh, an item, um, for consideration. Um, uh, it's a settlement offer. Um, I will offer up first. Uh, I guess I'll I ask the governing body and the mayor, um, if an executive session is needed to discuss this. Yes. I would make a motion to move into executive session. Second. We have Then, I will ask the city attorney to please read. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. The motion would be to recess into executive session, not to exceed 15 minutes to give legal advice, and discuss litigation, and other matters deemed privileged under the attorney-client privilege as allowed under KSA 75-4319b2. The open meeting will resume on Zoom in The following staff will be necessary to assist the governing body in its deliberations, the city attorney, and other staff members as needed. All right.
