Next, I saw a post about a working land strategy in Thurston County on Facebook and a recommendation from an educational group. From the Facebook post, I can read to you that after three years of long cooperation between farmers, landowners, tribal groups, and conservationists, Thurston County has completed its Working Lands Conservation Strategy. I would like to ask you all to review the study of those who participated in the three projects run by this group. Only one person represents as a farmer is in that study. Twenty-six people. Those who represent land trusts, that is, those who participate in those meetings, will get 35%. If not 28%, then 21% of Thurston County residents, the remaining 35% will come. Washington Fish and Wildlife is one of the groups that have not benefited from the situation. I don't think it's surprising that the majority and all subordinates that come from this are for promoting development rights and for promoting funding for the county. Who benefits from this by selling development rights? Only for land trusts and the county. There is a belief about trust even in a systematic manner. I am asking the county commissioners. I have said this before when I came here. If you do not hire farmers to talk about the conservation of agricultural lands, how will you build trust? Let me say that I have not seen a farmer or even a small landowner there. So how will we bring these people? Believe us. Tell them that we are working for this. The same goes for the right to grow and the right to change hands. But they are not doing anything for economic stability. I first heard about this when I was at the American Farmland Trust. If you don't have money to farm, you don't have to worry about how much land you have. Do you know? I am 52 years old. When I was 13 years old, I started working in my family's farm. Most of my life, that was my main job. This year, it is the highest wage I have ever seen. And yet I am in trouble. It is not entirely your fault. It is the fault of the government. It is the fault of the federal government. Washington state is the lowest out of 50 states in the world. That is, it is 50th out of 50 in the monetary state. So, if you want to talk about this or want to do something about it, I'm here. I've been in the Planning Commission for 20 years. It was a small thing and there was nothing special to report. On Friday, I completed the last part of my summer Thurston County Park trip. It may have been the most amazing trip ever. It's hard to say. Everything was amazing. Fry Cove is really amazing. I've never been there in my life. From my perspective, it's very far. Even though it's very far, it's more beautiful to see. That's where we had lunch. I didn't know there was an island there. That's a great thing. I don't know if all of you know this, but we have taken the land from the Fish and Wildlife Museum, and it is full of the smell of the land. That's why there's a big park there, and if you have a permit, you can go there during the season and catch crabs. That's a very nice thing. In the opinion of the park residents, it's very popular. Then for people, as you know, it's the smell of the land. Their main complaint was that the sink was smelly when they washed their poop. But I didn't know that we had such a facility. Then, where did we go the other day? That was the most important thing. We visited some other park lands other than parks. We had a lot of activities in the county. It was a good day. From 1869, we have our own cemetery in Thurston County. This is a pioneer cemetery that started in 1818. This is not that big. This is a small area. It is just a small piece of land in the gate area. But when you walk through it, you will get a good sense of history. There are a lot of dead bodies that can be read about the lives of different people. Then it was very interesting to see. Good. I conducted a meeting with the office of Senator Conwell. I think all commissioners will do it immediately. That's a good thing. I saw a new lifeblood who is interested in joining the county. That's very exciting. I participated in the South Sound Sustainability and Climate Coordination Call. Also, there is another very exciting thing. We visited Mountain View Elementary's Orchid Lazy Monitoring site. Congresswoman Strickland and Representative Lisa partially participated in it. We took part in the celebration with three other guests. I have been there before, but I have been able to learn more things this time than last time. So it was very interesting. I also participated in the second annual community connections event with Olympia Mutual Aid Partners. Last year, Commissioner Minzer was there. This was their second event. I talked again about this. One of the directors of the Franklin Street Harm Reduction Center also spoke. It was very good to hear how those partnerships are working. We talked about the needs of the community with the volunteers and the partners. We also talked about some of the big names that they are proud of for helping people like Bhavanara. We heard the details directly from the people involved in the operation to understand how to cooperate with the county and community to deal with the shortage of these services. I had a reporter in touch with me to know about the rise in the number of youth in Thurston County. So we talked about it. It seems that there has been a big rise in the number of youth aged between 18 and 25. The reason is that young people are counted as young people at this age. But even children under the age of 18 have an increase in obesity. So I think this is something we need to pay attention to. There is a need to investigate whether the county can provide any help. When I asked the reason why the county is providing help, I tried to answer that question again. Because I know that we are providing a large amount of funds to community members for these activities. But I don't think that the county has a backup plan for those community members who can't work and support the community as much as they can. Because we are experts in many other things. That's why it was nice to think about what we should do. The county has already announced our plans, but it is still raising the problems of young people. So it's just a discussion going on in the community. I took part in the Harvest Festival in Juvenile Kodathi. There we saw the garden. This is the second time I am taking part in this event. It is very important to see how much young people are getting paid. Thousands of pounds of food is given to food banks and other local associations. This is a great way for young people who are in the judicial system to return to society. We heard the details from some of the youth in the program and from those who were willing to help even if they were disabled from the program. All the youth who participated came in their own way. There were about 15 youths there. It is a great thing to see that the youth of this community and their faith and the need of the community have returned to the program because they believe in it. That's why it's a great thing to see that in Thurston County and everywhere, the situation of bird protection is increasing again, and the youth are recognizing that need and trying to solve that problem. That's why it was a very good thing to see. I am going to take part in an event of FGC. Their door system, their entire control system, and I will be able to spend time with the youth in the garden.
