City Council - Regular Meeting

Good morning. My name is Matthew Klebes  and this is what's happening at city hall,   a recap of the January 26, 2026 city council  meeting. At that meeting, we had a presentation   from a new opioid treatment center located in the  Dallas. We had retired public works director Dave   Anderson provides more context and clarification  related to an OPB article about our water master   plan and The Dalles watershed. We approved  contracts to modernize the elevator here at   city hall and continue to move the first  street streetscaping project forward set   for this construction season. We updated our local  contract review board rules and our fee schedule.   And my city manager report contained numerous  updates uh from across the city, including   staff action taken to date to improve  communication and support children and   families impacted by recent federal immigration  activity.
