Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

Thomas here and chairman Ne here. We we've got a quorum. Uh we we need to have an adoption of the summarized minutes from the previous meeting. Uh move for adoption. Move. Do we have a second? Sec. Item number three, entertainment district revisions.

Uh yeah, I uh let me look at the language here. Okay, Mr. Chairman, I move that we modify the language of ordinance number section 2882, entertainment district. uh to change the hours of operation from Monday through Saturday uh 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. All right. and uh Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. So that's a language change of the hours of operation and uh I'm looking here.

Add no. All right. Under the sentence beginning with no open containers containing alcohol may be carried into any business establishment. uh sentence added on behind that. Uh no uh alcohol shall be consumed or no how would we say that outside alcohol no outside alcohol to be consumed in the district. So those two changes, Mr. Chairman, we have a second.

And then they can only drink the immediate outside. Oh, we need a third thing. Okay.

After 10 p.m., you can only drink. All right. Uh we would need another sentence in that then that says that uh alcohol consumption allowable after 10 p.m. closing on the sidewalk in front of the individual staff. All right. Do we have a second? We have a motion and a second to amend uh entertainment district uh ordinance 28-82.

All right. We have anything else? Uh, one other item of business, Mr. Chairman. All right. Uh, I'd like to direct the public uh the planning commissioner. I'd like to direct the planning commissioner to seek advice from the public works director and the chief of police. concerning uh the entertainment district uh in 90 days and then add that to our that month's agenda for discussion January. Yeah.

Probably won't have a crowd be cold out there. So in the next summer we'll see how it goes. All right. Motion to motion to adjurnn. So moved. Second.
