The city must take into account the impacts of new developments or redevelopments on the quality and quantity of water in the context of the examination process, will require appropriate attenuation efforts. The impacts that may affect the quantity or quality of drinking water must be a priority and a concern in these communities. Is there a way to add that these lucrative projects, whether they are Catholic Charities, the development of Aarau, the development that will take place in the north of the city, is that they should put money aside for the modernization of infrastructures, because, you know, because of this climate element in which we find ourselves, we will need a new reservoir, we will need a new well. So, although the city invoices a water service, the development company itself should also help some of these expensive infrastructures, wells, pumping stations, and at the request that this will have on our systems.

It is therefore a broader discussion that I think should take place after the process of the development plan. What you are talking about is the implementation of impact fees that cities can impose. Sunnyside does not currently have impact fees. So the development, when it is proposed and passes through the authorization process, is necessary to extend new public service lines. things of this nature. But you know, like a kind of... These are just elements related to the climate.
