Thank you. For the record, Heidi Bazizo. The rental of a front end loader at the Cathcart Way Recycling And Transfer Center, what occurred while a new hybrid loader was on order. And what occurred is that it exceeded approval authority due to the need for specialized services on that new hybrid equipment. So, while they were waiting for the new equipment to be online, they incurred expenses above and beyond the approval authority. Motion 20 six-seventeen requests retroactive approval of the rental costs above that approval authority in the amount of $10,582.70. So the request today is for council to move the motion to GLS on January 28 for consideration.

The Larson Road Bridge 101 seismic retrofit was included in the twenty sixthirty one Six Year Transportation Improvement Program adopted on 11/05/2025, by Budget Motion 20 five-four 51. The project requires temporary easements on five parcels beginning this year. Motion twenty six zero three nine approves the right of way plan for this project authorizes the County Executive to do the same. It also authorizes the County Engineer to acquire uneconomic remnants or additional impact property necessary to implement the plan. The anticipated cost of the easements is $106,000 over two years, with the dollars coming from a combination of federal bridge dollars and a $12,960 county match from the Road Fund in 'twenty seven. The request today is to move this motion to GLS on January 28 for consideration.

For the record, Cynthia Foley, council staff, the proposed interlocal agreement would allow for a new agreement whereby the county will perform traffic signal, flashing crosswalk, beacon, radars, radar speed sign, and streetlight maintenance services within the county bound within the city boundary of Lake Stevens. The city of Lake Stevens will reimburse all county costs incurred. Estimated costs for 2026 are $43,548. Motion 26 dash zero zero seven authorizes the Snohomish County executive to execute the agreement. The request is to move motion 26 dash zero zero seven to the GLS agenda for council consideration.
