Thank you. We'll close public comment. We'll get into our action items. First up is motion 20 five-three 84.

Thank you. For the record, Heidi Bazizo. Motion 20 five-three 84 authorizes the county executive to sign the affiliation agreement between Edmonds College and Snohomish County to place nursing program interns in health, safety, and emergency management settings under supervision. This agreement is effective 09/01/2025, through termination, with renewal required no later than three years from the effective date. The request is to move this motion to GLS on September 17 for consideration.

Great. Thank you. Any questions for Heidi? Councilmembers, any objections to consent? With no objection, we'll move this item to consent on September agenda. Next is motion 20 five-three 89.

1:30 – 1:552

Motion 20 five-three 89 authorizes the county executive to execute an amendment with the City of Arlington for the distribution and acceptance of naloxone. This amendment extends duration of the existing agreement, which was executed on 09/23/2002, to 12/31/2030. Extensions may be approved for up to two additional five year terms. All other terms and conditions of the agreement remain in full force and effect. Request is to move this motion to GLS on September 17 for consideration.

2:04 – 2:322

Motion 20 five-three 90 authorizes the county executive to execute the Washington Cares Fund implementation agreement with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services to receive as the area aging agency for Sonoma County for implementation of the long term care insurance program. The grant of $1,355,270 exceeds the approved amount in the grant work plan by more than $100,000 and therefore requires Council approval. The request is to move this motion to GLS on September 17 for consideration.

2:32 – 2:440

Thank you. Questions, comments from Councilmembers? Objection to consent? No objection. We'll move this to September consent agenda. That brings us to the end of our agenda for today. Council will be adjourned until tomorrow. Thank you.
