Morning, everyone. We'll call together, call to order Snohomish County Council for the finance budget and administration committee. Today is Tuesday, 03/10/2026 at 10AM. We're meeting in the Jackson Boardroom and also remotely. I'll read the script for public comment, and then we'll take roll. Thank you, chair Dunn. Good morning, council members. For the record, Jim Martin, council staff. Post motion 26 dash one one seven would require council staff to post notices of ordinances that increase taxes introduced to council via council managed web page dedicated to this person or purpose, excuse me, on all council social media accounts and to submit detailed notices for publication to Snohomish County news outlets. Requested action is to move to GLS on March 18 for consideration.

Opposed motion 26Dash095 accepts the 2025 grant work plan reconciliation report from the county executive. Snohomish County code four point two six point zero two five provides for the council to consider and approve grant work plans in conjunction with consideration of the budget. This reconciliation report is for all grant contracts included in the 2025 grant work plans adopted by the council, and requested action is to move to GLS on March 18 for consideration.

Closed motion 26 dash zero eight four approves and authorizes the executive to sign the Snohomish County tourism promotion area agreement with EVA. Scope of work includes to create and maintain media strategy, project management, administration and account management, implement digital media management, optimization and reporting, and full FIFA campaign report production. Contractors through 12/31/2026 with a not to exceed amount of $244,100. The requested action is to move to GLS on March 11 for consideration.

Opposed motion 20 six-one zero six authorizes the executive to sign a contract for economic development services with Economic Alliance in Snohomish County. The purpose of the contract is to strengthen the economic development ecosystem in Snohomish County. Term of the agreement is through 12/31/2026 with a not to exceed amount of $100,000. Requested action is to move to GLS on March 18 for consideration.

Greater Seattle Partners will work to increase global trade that benefits the Central Puget Sound region to attract businesses to the entire region covered by GSP, including Pierce, King, and Snohomish Counties with a special focus on foreign direct investment. Term of the agreement is through 12/31/2026 with the not to exceed amount of $100,000. Requested action is to move to GLS on March 18 for consideration.
