MAYOR'S MINUTE

SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR DESIGN SERVICES WITH W.G. ZIMMERMAN ENGINEERING, INCORPORATED FOR THE EAST BURNETT STREET HISTORICAL DISTRICT PEDESTRIAN AND BIKE ENHANCEMENT PROJECT

Recommendation: Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for Design Services with W.G. Zimmerman Engineering, Inc. for the East Burnett Street Historical District Pedestrian and Bike Enhancement Project, increasing compensation by $55,139.25, from $245,372.70 to a revised not-to-exceed amount of $300,691.95, and extending the agreement term through June 30, 2027, in a form approved by the City Attorney.

SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ASSOCIATED SOILS ENGINEERING, INCORPORATED

Recommendation: 1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a Second Amendment to the Professional Consultant Services Agreement with Associated Soils Engineering, Inc., increasing the agreement compensation by $185,000, from $300,000 to a revised not-to-exceed amount of $485,000 over the agreement term to continue the material testing and onsite inspection for the Amphitheater Construction and Gundry Roof Reservoir Rehabilitation projects, in a form approved by the City Attorney; and 2. Find pursuant to Signal Hill Municipal Code Section 3.20.120(I), that approval of the Second Amendment without conducting a new procurement is in the best interest of the City and the public health, safety, and welfare.

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2025 MILITARY EQUIPMENT ANNUAL REPORT AND RENEWING ORDINANCE NO 2022-06-1535

Recommendation: Adopt a resolution, entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE 2025 MILITARY EQUIPMENT ANNUAL REPORT AND RENEWING ORDINANCE NO. 2022-06-1535, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASSEMBLY BILL 481

WARRANT REGISTER DATED AUGUST 25, 2026

Recommendation: Authorize payment of the Warrant Registers presented August 25, 2026.

Recommendation: Approve the meeting minutes of the June 23, 2026 Regular City Council Meeting, August 14, 2026 Special City Council Meeting and August 19, 2026 Special City Council Meeting.
