Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

I call this meeting of the seaside planning commission to order. Please stand for the pledge of allegiance. All right, Mr. Spra, can we have a roll call, please? Yes, sir. Uh, Commissioner Don Johnson. Commissioner John Johnson is here. Commissioner Brandon Craft, present. Commissioner Gretchen Stalmer. Chair Robin Montero, Vice Chair Kathy Klesic, Commissioner Commissioner Chris Rose present. Commissioner Roger Mitchell here. Thank you. Thank you. This is the time and dual uh place duly advertised by the city seaside planning commission to hold this monthly meeting. Agenda items can be initiated by the general public, any legal property owner, the city of uh seaside city council, city staff, and the seaside planning commission. Does anyone present feel like the commission lacks the authority to hear any item on the agenda? Hearing none. Uh typically we would give instruction to online attendees who want to comment during the meeting. However, there is only one consent agenda item and no public hearing item on this agenda. So I will forego the instructions for the Zoom attendees. that is not applicable for this meeting. On the minutes, are there any corrections, deletions, or additions to the minutes for April 1st, 2025? Hearing none, the minutes are adopted as written. It is standard procedure for the members of the uh planning commission to visit the sites be uh to be dealt with at these meetings. Do any of the commissioners wish to declare an exparte contact or conflict of interest? Hearing none, we will move on to the consent agenda items. There is

only one item on the consent agenda noted as the approval of Seaside Historical Society wall graphics. I will as it is a consent agenda item and no discussion is necessary. I will entertain a motion to approve the consent agenda. Move to approve. Any second? Second. All in favor? I opposed. Hearing none, consent agendum item is approved. Ordinance administration. I have nothing tonight. Okay. Comments from city staff. Comments from the rest of the commission. Um we do have one item uh labeled as work session which uh was my uh recommendation for creating a design review board. Um I would like to move it to the next meeting as we do not have the full uh commission here today. Does anybody have an issue with that? No hearing none.
