PUBLIC HEARING
APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 OF A LOAN AGREEMENT AND ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTS WITH A FOOD PROCESSING COMPANY IN AN AMOUNT UP TO $13,500,000 FOR THE RELOCATION OF ITS FACILITY TO THE CITY OF SANTA FE SPRINGS
It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 10042, approving Amendment No. 1 of a Loan Agreement between the City of Santa Fe Springs and Juanita's Foods, a California corporation, providing for one or more loans in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $13,500,000; and 2. Authorize the City Manager, in consultation with the City Attorney and Finance Director, to execute the Loan Agreement, attached Promissory Note, and all other Loan Documents, 3. Further Authorize the City Manager, in consultation with the City Attorney and Finance Director to make any non-substantive changes necessary to finalize the transaction; and 4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
