City Council and Authorities Concurrent - Regular Meeting

The City Council discussed the proposed FY 2026/27 & FY 2027/28 Biennial Capital Improvement Program Budget and FY 2026/27 Operating Budget Amendments, setting June 9, 2026, as the public hearing date for action on the proposed budget. The Council also considered a potential land exchange for the City Hall Civic Center Campus with Valley Oak Partners, ultimately deciding to conduct a facilities needs assessment and form a Community Advisory Committee to evaluate all options for the Civic Center, without entering into an exclusive negotiating agreement at this time. Additionally, the El Camino Real Specific Plan, General Plan Amendment, and related zoning changes were approved after extensive discussion.
