RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AGENCY - A. PRADO, DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND BUILDING - Adopt resolution drafted in accordance with Planning Commission January 21, 2026, disapproval of County Planning file PLN250072, a use permit at 2200 San Juan Hollister Road, approximately 1 3/4 miles west of Downtown Hollister in unincorporated San Benito County, to construct a 100-foot monopine-style wireless communication tower with associated equipment on a 2,500-square-foot lease area.

Government Code Section 65400 and 65700 mandates that all cities and counties submit an annual report on the status of the General Plan and progress in its implementation to their legislative bodies, the Governor's Office of Planning and Research (OPR) and the Housing and Community Development (HCD) by April 1 of each year. This is to report what was accomplished within the calendar year of 2025 of the County's progress and implementation of the 2035 San Benito County General Plan. Dated November 10, 2021, with first amendments dated January 11, 2018, per Section 19.11.012 of the San Benito County code. This item is continued to the regular Planning Commission Meeting of March 18, 2026 due to the ongoing vegetation management regulatory review and with the first meeting with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) scheduled with RWE for late February to discuss initial comments on Amendment Incidental Take Permit (ITP) No. 4, as well as the pending fire prevention planning report from RWE's external contractor, which will not be finalized until later this month.
