Welcome to On the Agenda, where we highlight the activities of City of Salena boards and commissions. I'm your host, David Hawksworth. The city commission meets on Monday, April 13th. Here's a rundown of what's on the agenda. At the regular 4M meeting, commissioners will hold public hearings on four naming initiatives. the parking lot at Santa Fe Avenue and Ash Street and three areas to be constructed as part of the River Renewal Project. A plaza at Fourth Street South of Iron Avenue, an area adjacent to Lakewood Park, and a trail at Founders Park. Also on the agenda, approval of art and design projects for the new fire station number four, approval of an agreement for employee time and attendance software, and certification of final costs for the 2026 special assessment projects. In development business, the city commission will consider approval of an ordinance reszoning the northwest corner of Ohio Street and Edison Place for the new Salina Family Healthcare Facility, approval of the final flat of the area, and approval of a break-in access along Ohio Street for the facility.
