Did you know that you help support Sageno programs and services right from your water bill? If you look at your water bill under current charges, you will see contributions. These optional contributions go directly into funds that support programs and amenities across our community. The park's contributions help enhance our city parks and support community favorites like carnival rides at the train and grain festival, the holiday drone show, and independent celebration fireworks. It also pays for the park outdoor warning station. The beautifification contribution focuses on improving the overall appearance of our community. Murals throughout the city were funded using this fund. Contributions to the library help support reading challenge prizes, summer interns, special storytime activities like a petting zoo, and other library programming and events. Contributions to the animal donations help care for animals at the animal shelter, including covering unforeseen medical needs. This is a new contribution. category. Each of these funds is guided by a dedicated board that makes recommendations to city council on how the contributions are used. City council reviews and appropriates the contributions through the annual budget process. Contributions are completely voluntary. You can adjust your amount or opt out at any time by emailing utility billing at uubilling at sagenaltx.org. Your contribution can make a big impact right here in Sagenol. Thank you for supporting our community.
