Yes, thank you, Chair. Just one item for you this evening. Just to let the commission know that it's that time of year again, I'll be preparing the Planning and Design Commission's annual report, which is annual. So I'll be preparing it for our September 24th meeting to do a review and comment of the draft. And that's all I have. Thank you, Chair.

Okay. Thank you. Next on the agenda is our public hearing calendar. Item one is the NorCal Bottle Shop and Alcohol Sales, P26-007. I'm now opening the public hearing. Are there any disclosures, site visits, or recusals for this item? Seeing none.

Good evening, Chair and Commissioners. My name is Sierra Peterson, Associate Planner with the Community Development Department. The item before you is P26-007 for 2820 E Street Alcohol Sales, located on the south side of E Street between 28th and 29th Streets. This application is for a conditional use permit to authorize the sale of distilled spirits with a type 21 license in an existing retail store within the limited commercial zone in the Central City Special Planning District. Previous store operators at this location have had type 20 licenses for the sale of beer and wine since 1983. The business is not currently operating, but the new business operator will reopen the convenience store and is similar to the businesses run by various operators that have been on site since 1983. The business will open once the alcohol license is granted. This project was noticed to residents, property owners, and neighborhood associations within 500 feet of the site, and the site was posted with a public hearing notice. Staff has not received any public comment before the staff report was published. Staff recommends that the Planning and Design Commission approve the entitlements. This concludes my presentation, and I'm available for any questions you may have. The applicant is also in attendance tonight. Thank you.

I don't know if this is the appropriate time, and I'm going to probably embarrass someone, but I just learned that tonight is our Commissioner Blunt's last meeting, and I've already shared with him that I really appreciate it. Sitting next to him, building that relationship and friendship, and you will be missed. Thank you. Okay. Just had to tell everybody something that he probably didn't want anyone to know.

Yeah, I just wanted to say it's been an honor working with all of you and getting to know you and also getting to serve in this position, particularly coming from my background in labor and being able to kind of be a voice here in this platform and in this body. So, yeah, and I... I'm not resigning. I'm resigning for work issues. I'm actually being relocated to another part of the country. So, yeah, keep doing the great work, and I really, really appreciate it. Thank you.
