I work for Arkansas Baptist Children and Family Ministries. Put forth this petition on behalf of Gary Scarbor, the property owner. So, may I speak on the Yes.
request. Okay. Thank you uh already for hearing this. I don't want to press my luck. Um but I did want to present our situation and see if there was a possibility for an expedited reading. Uh we were offered the property there. Uh it was an empty office building. Uh built as an office building with a parking lot and a sign. And so we refreshed the building, got it up to code, got it um um what's the uh what's the word? Got all the uh approvals done and applied for a business license to find out that the property was owned residential. And so that was to our surprise. And so all that to be said, uh we have staff and clients waiting uh to provide it's nonprofit um just to provide a service to the community uh Christian counseling, foster care, and adoption services. And so um would love to see if there was a way to expedite the reading uh so that we could begin providing services in that location. Thank you. Well, just so you know, I mean, it is the first of three and it's a special call. So, we'll have the second reading next week. So, like it's not going to be three months from now and then, you know, so if that helps at all.
So, my request would be that the second reading would be the final reading there on the 19th. Yeah. Yeah. I would give it Mr. Wilson and see if because emergency clause needs we have to have a trip wire as is something to make it you know feasible. So sure but you could request a reading of two of two. Is that what you're Yes. Okay. If you'd request that with this you have a formal request of that uh at planning. like a letter.
