I'm seeking approval and the recommendation to upgrade the boiler room and the county building as well as the domestic hot water that goes to the jail and feeds the county building. We have done interviews and have come to a selection of Colvin's plumbing and heating for both of those.

So location-wise, I just, I've heard nothing but Stellar. He's on time, under budget, gets his work done. I've never heard anything in this community negative. And that's the only other one I'm aware of. So I was just curious as to, I know Colvin's too, so that's not a problem. Yeah, so we we set up to interview the lowest three bids We ended up not interviewing with J.E. Johnson because they did not complete the bid specs They did TBDs instead of Numbers

the Engineer and everything looked everything and everything in the bid is all met the spec set the engineer That was a good for me recommendation as well, you know to see that engineer say hey this works and stuff so Just because it's best value and the lowest doesn't always mean it's the best provider That's the only reason I was inquiring just to see if they really looked through all that as well, and it sounds like they did Super including using brand name products That's a sticker with me, okay Meaning you want brand name products.

We had specified three different control systems, one of which we use right now, but it's a proprietary system. So basically, we're tied in with one contractor for that. So no one else can work on it. We can't tie onto the system. And it's rather costly. In this project, I thought it was time to seek one single control system. This company came highly recommended. This is the one that the contract that we selected. was going to use for the new boiler room. So instead of using three different control systems, we opt to price out, switching everything over to one control system. And it's non-proprietary, so anybody can tie onto it. We're not married to this company. And we can have other people service that.

Is that going to replace that conglomeration of a box on the wall?

It'll clean it up quite a bit in both boiler rooms.

What's there now has been jerry-rigged over the years because you can't even get parts for it.

Most of the servers we have now for the controls are obsolete.

It's definitely past its time.

They're out of Alpena. I met with them and I met with one other control system... This guy was very personal. He walked me through their control system. It's very simplified. We can access it mobily. So if, on a weekend, if we have a RTU go down or something, I can remotely log on and see what we got going on. And then whoever we choose to do the preventative maintenance, they have access to log on too, so they can be prepared before they even get on site.

It's just not a different... Well, it's the service that I also looked at beyond... just getting the job. Both of them offer good warranties. They all offer 24 hour service and they all offer training. So that's important for me and the maintenance department to get proper training on what we're gonna be working with.

The only thing I have to is looking at all of it. It looks like when we originally had met with our controller and IT department that came in way under what we thought it may at $601,269 for everything.

Better than the $640,000 that we thought when we were estimating for capital projects. I was just double checking that too. Perfect. Roll call, please.
