Requesting Board Approval of the minutes of the previous month’s Board of Commissioners meeting (problem with February 3rd Board of Commissioners’ minutes for the meeting-they will not be available until the April Board of Commissioners’ meeting on April 14th, 2026, to vote on approval).

Releases for the month of January 2026 - $43,054.74. Refunds for the month of January 2026 - $90.00.
North Carolina Vehicle Tax Refund for the month of January.
NCVTS information for the month of January. The total amount being refunded is $1106.09.
Piedmont Natural Gas, Share the Warmth Budget Amendment
The Department of Social Services has received funding for Piedmont Natural Gas Share the Warmth to help with low-income eligible household customers in a heat-related crisis and is requesting a budget amendment in the amount of $1,933.00.
Foster Care 18-21 Budget Amendment
The Department of Social Services has an increase in youth eligible for guardianship assistance and is requesting a budget amendment in the amount of $11,500.00 for extended foster care benefits and services for youth ages 18-21 who meet state criteria.
Sheriff's Office Mobile Data Terminals Request
After receiving a request received from the Sheriff's office, we are asking for board approval for a budget amendment of $48,000 to purchase and equip 12 new vehicles with Mobile Data Terminals. This was an oversight when the vehicle specifications were being pulled together.
