The Department of Social Services has received funding for Piedmont Natural Gas Share the Warmth to help with low-income eligible household customers in a heat-related crisis and is requesting a budget amendment in the amount of $1,933.00.

The Department of Social Services has an increase in youth eligible for guardianship assistance and is requesting a budget amendment in the amount of $11,500.00 for extended foster care benefits and services for youth ages 18-21 who meet state criteria.

After receiving a request received from the Sheriff's office, we are asking for board approval for a budget amendment of $48,000 to purchase and equip 12 new vehicles with Mobile Data Terminals. This was an oversight when the vehicle specifications were being pulled together.
