A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A SECRETARY TO THE RAHWAY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Molly Ortiz is hereby appointed as Secretary to the Rahway Redevelopment Agency. The Secretary shall perform all duties customarily associated with the position, including but not limited to maintaining official records, preparing meeting minutes, coordinating meeting materials, and performing other administrative duties as directed by the Agency. Molly Ortiz shall receive an annual stipend in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for serving as Secretary to the Rahway Redevelopment Agency.
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE HAZARDOUS DISCHARGE SITE REMEDIATION FUND PUBLIC ENTITY PROGRAM THROUGH THE NEW JERSEY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The Rahway Redevelopment Agency has applied for and has been awarded a grant in the amount of up to $878,044.95 from the Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund Municipal Grant Program through the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority for the Preliminary Assessment, Site Investigation, and Remedial Investigation of the Summit Finishing, Inc. property.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH T&M ASSOCIATES FOR PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE ACQUISITION OF 173 MAIN STREET FOR THE RAHWAY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The professional services contract with T&M Associates, 1455 Broad Street, Suite 250, Bloomfield, New Jersey 07003, for the provision of professional environmental engineering services related to the environmental evaluation and due diligence for the acquisition of property located at 173 Main Street, Rahway, New Jersey, is hereby approved. The estimated value of the contract for the 2026 calendar year shall not exceed $8,500.
A RESOLUTION OF THE RAHWAY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, IN THE COUNTY OF UNION, NEW JERSEY, EXTENDING THE STATUS AS A CONDITIONAL REDEVELOPER FOR 252 WESTCOTT DRIVE LLC FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 252 WESCOTT DRIVE, IDENTIFIED AS BLOCK 277, LOT 10 ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF RAHWAY.
The designation of 252 Westcott Drive LLC (the "Conditional Redeveloper") is hereby granted through November 21, 2026 and is contingent upon Conditional Redeveloper providing any additional Project related information as may be requested by the Agency.
