Good morning. We held a police oral board on August 13th overview. We have one lateral applicant, one advanced applicant and seven entry applicants. And the first one is the lateral police. Sadie Jones is currently at Thurston County and also has corrections experience. And so with that, that lateral police officer entry list will have one name Sadie Jones.

All right. And the testing, can you explain the testing?

It was a standard oral interview with a panel of three police representatives.

And the person passed?

The person passed, correct.

The next is our advanced police candidate. We did a standard oral interview also on August 13th. The new candidate is Diana Myers, who has previous law enforcement experience with Port of Seattle. And then attached for approval today is our advanced entry police officer. The names are one, Brad Anglin, two, Diana Myers, three, Tyler Campbell, four, Carolina Marin Melger.

All right. I would entertain a motion to approve the blended advanced entry police officer eligibility list.

The third one is for the entry. Again, we did a standard oral interview on August 13th with seven applicants. Their process is oral board plus a written test through public safety testing with a combined then final score, which would also include any applicable veterans preference if they qualified for that. And so the new list will have 17 names and they are Nick Jenkins, D'Artagnan Ayalalo, Krista Espinoza, Marcel Robinson, Brinder Kael, Noah Cheyenne, Logan Akas, Thomas Aragua, Janelle Aparicio, Joshua Shannon, Dylan Paganini, Julian Genreich, Josh Lemon, Forrest Preston, Jacob Albers, Braden Janicki and Liam Lyle.

Sorry, Chair. Just a quick question out of curiosity. How many of these folks, you know, some of them obviously looks like about half are still, you know, were previously on the list. How many of those are in process versus how many are like just ghosted?

With this, the chief usually does do several chiefs interviews with, I'll say, the top, more top names on the list. It's a bandwidth also of how many move forward to background so that we can have a process that does roll along smooth. Right now, we have one person in background on the entry list. One off of the advanced police list and one off of the lateral list.

And it's also, if I may add, sorry, a balance of trying to get a spot in the academy for entry level. So we may not choose to have two or three of that if we know we might only get one spot. And so we try to balance trying to pull off the different lists just to kind of help accommodate that factor as well.

And with that, the attached list has six names for lateral corrections officer, Christian Hansen, Brent Kempster, Kristen Kramer, Nathaniel Smith, Katrina Saunders, and then Tiffany Hernandez is the applicant we interviewed in August.
