Just trying to get you in the right frame of mind for gonna ask for more money. We're ask we're going to get budget season. I'm going to put a dollar amount for smile. She's got so haven't got on today to
like to call the meeting to order. Do the flag salute. Tyson has a few words. Pledge allegiance to the flag United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Reminders before we get going, please state your name and title when you first begin speaking. Public comment will be allowed to the extent that it's on topic. Persons participating via Zoom are currently muted. If you have a comment, then please let Mark know via the chat function. Mark will then inform Chairman Trinko can take up the comment in a manner that doesn't disrupt the agenda. And if the executive session is needed, then we'll mute and turn off the video. And when we're done, we'll turn everything back on.
Heather, you there? I am. Can you hear me? Sure can.
Okay. I just have three quick things today. The first is um related to the tax bill. The governor has until Thursday to take action. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I don't know which it is yet. The legislative website was redone over the weekend, which makes it very difficult to find where things are. So, I'll just tell you that after a lot of effort, it is still not signed or whatever action is going to happen. The second thing is uh last week the governor announced that uh the Pratt airport got $30,000 from the KOT aviation improvement project to reseal the runway and fix some of the concrete um chunks uh which is really good news. So, that we got some of that for the South Central Kansas region. And then the last thing I have is um I'll be meeting with the city of Sawyer and KGS on Thursday for a project status update and wanted to make sure that the county didn't have any concerns or hadn't heard any concerns about traveling through the rideway with the KGS pipe. And that's all I have for today.
I don't think the county's got any issues with them. Okay, that's that's good news. Any other questions? I don't, Heather. I don't. Thank you all. Thank you.
Vicki, you want to come on up? Just in time. Just in time. Right. Just come in early. I was in Barber County this morning and I waited in my car and I should have came in early there. They were waiting on me. Yeah, you never know. Thanksgiving, right? Okay. They don't. Okay, perfect. I bring them just in case. We ever done this today. No, you're fine. Okay. You are fine.
I just never know. So, try to be prepared. All right. I shared with you some of my report for Pray County. Um, basically, it shows client counts going up. still seeing more people and more services being provided. So, it's not trending downward, it's trending upward. Um, about a year ago, we had 350 total clients and we're up to 493. So, and that's per quarter. Total number is would be a little bit different, but how many we serve per quarter? Um, any questions about it going up in every county? It is going up in every county. Yep. We are seeing that across the board. figured it probably was.
Yeah. I think it's a matter of people becoming more comfortable with seeking mental health services, but I also think it has to do with the fact that we have enough staff
to be that's available to provide those services. Yes. Yep. Um wanted to give you guys a little update on the mental health intervention teams. That's a program that puts liaison in the schools and helps us uh coordinate care and provide therapy and case management in the schools. Um the legislature originally cut all the funding for that program and we were very lucky because it got back in at a reduced amount. So that program is going to continue and we're in both school systems here in Pratt Skyline and Pratt. Um there's some changes to the programs coming. We don't know exactly what that'll look like, but just wanted to make sure everybody knows we're committed to continuing to provide services in those schools regardless of what happens. Um, and working with the school districts to figure out how we best do that if the funding was to go away because there's a lot of value there. And and we we actually did school services in Reno County prior to that grant. Um, so I know it's doable. So, just kind of want to give you guys an update on that. Other than that, not a lot of big updates.
Veto this bill. We might have 496, three of us on this year. Yep.
Oh, man. Um, financial statements, I have included those in your packet, too. Um, we are on a a good trend right now. So, you may or may not remember back in in July, we had an audit adjustment because of some EMR things. Um, still had a positive operating margin for the year. Um, but it did have some carryover. It trickled over into the first several months of the year. Um, we have gotten all of that cleaned up and now we are um moving in the right direction. Uh, actually March was positive. I didn't have the the the actual paperwork isn't done, but we are we are positive for the month month of March. So for the year to date, we're sitting at a negative EBIDA through March of about $890,000. Um, and we anticipate we should be positive the last three months as well, unless something crazy happens. But things are trending the right direction.
It's good. Gotta love computer software. Any other questions you have for me or concerns?
Oh, the you're asking for the same level. Yeah. Yep. I'm not Yeah, I'm not asking for any changes. not something I've already looked into something I need to give my grand speech on. I don't know. I believe mental health is one of the 13 services that were required to to us. I think I think mental health is one of the 13 services. It's one of the 13 that were required. I just the tax bill that they sent to the governor pretty much just keeps us at the same level from here to
since they know we're better for this community than we do. Just giving you No, I I get that. We're trying to give everybody that comes in Yeah. heads up. Yeah. Because our insurance has gone up, both health and Yeah. property. And since we had a hail storm out the new building, I imagine we're going to have another increase next year probably. Yeah. And I understand that. Um I don't know where this is going. Yep. I don't I like you said that one program they cut it and put it back.
Put it back. And and and we saw a lot of that this this legislative session. We played a lot of uh had a lot of things that were going to be cut and then they weren't cut and then they were again. I mean it was all related to behavioral health. Yeah, it was a lot of chaos. So, you know, tell us we have provided this service don't give us any funding source. Right. Now, they've taken our funding sources completely away from us. Why? I don't know. Yeah. No, I do. I do not want your job. That's right.
You might have 91, you know. Don't wait until you are desperate. Let's get a Let's get in sooner so we can help. The way this year's going. You want to join in on this? Yeah, we can do some group. Yeah, we can do some group therapy. We can do that.
We're all on the same way. Yeah. Happy to do some specialized group therapy for you. It's all confidential. Yeah. So, well, we thank you for coming in. Yep. Not a problem. You guys are doing a good job. Yes, you are. I agree. I think your numbers are going up because people are more self-aware. Yeah. This isn't so much a stigma anymore. Yeah. Which is good. Yeah, it is. The more we can do that, the better. And I can see helping in schools a lot of that. Yes. With bullying and Yeah. social media. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Yep. Yep. The younger we can give those teach those skills, the better off we are.
Yep. That's true. All right. Well, thank you for your time. I appreciate it. Have a good rest of your day. You too.
You ready, Big J? Sure. I'm always ready. Did you bring Are you ready? Did you Did you bring stuff? I emailed you back, but it was I I don't know if I seen it. I brought a bunch of stuff. Maybe we don't want to see a bunch of Yeah. Did you just hear what we were talking about? Yeah. About me needing mental health. Yeah. You have any non-executive assessments? I do. I do. Um so um I have a the resolution for uh trying to declare a disaster for the storms for
Saturday night. So on the this copy here I had to mark in the 27th. My brain was going to the date of the um storm itself on that first one. But uh I do have we'll just look at we just need to sign one of them now. If I need to correct that on computer, I can and you just get you guys to sign it again. We can but what date is wrong? It was on the the 25th was the actual date of the storm. So I put that on the very first on the whereas the 25th of April and at the very bottom I put on there for when you adopt it on the 27th and um I think that it needs to be 27th on both of those dates.
It just crossed through. Okay, that'll work. And I do have um just for um kind of go with with the disaster, I do have a print out of the whole evening as far as what was seen, where it was seen, what time it was seen, and uh what was reported in to me. And then I've sent all this to the state as well. Um, one of the things that, uh, I'm working with, um, wildlife and parks on and also with, um, the USDA on is, uh, wildlife and parks. There was a lot of wildlife that was killed.
That's what I've heard. um through all of that um there just to north and west of Aayuka that big core came through there and I guess there was hawks and feeasants and all kinds of stuff just some of them were stunned some of them were gone but so um but that was uh uh those are kind of the reports that we had throughout the storm and then that that baron I did uh email you guys or text you guys a picture of that that uh picture that I got off of the the Baron. So, the USD had called this morning wanting a map of the a hail and they wanted me to draw it out or whatever. Well, since we have that new Baron, I was able to go in that night storms and track it through giving it the dates and the times
and to put that image on there. So, I was able to take a picture of it and send it to them. So, they have their map, they have their exact path of the the hail and then I posted it on Facebook just so people could see where the where the core was and kind of the track that that went through. to public. Yeah. Yeah. So, it's kind of cool. Have you not been down north of town? Oh, yeah. Yeah. People lost windows. Oh, yeah. I the airport. I saw videos, but I have a
Yeah, it really destroyed a lot. And then out at the building, of course, we had water running through the building. Um the gutters got so clogged up from all the hail that the water needed to go somewhere. So, it found whatever crevice it could. And so we had fans going, mops going, trying to get insurance, uh, yeah, insuranceances and the roofs probably totaled. But, uh, yeah, it's good stuff. But, u vehicles that were all out there were are all damaged and, um, I was the smart one. I put my vehicle inside, but it's good to go. But, but the rest of them are pretty trashed.
So, I know the the green communications truck is hit pretty hard. And then um my old black truck that EMS has, it was out and got got hit hard. So So it looks like a black golf ball now. Uh windshield's fine, I think. But the the rest, you get better gas mile. That's That's true. That's true. Yeah. So there always positives come out of all that. But but yeah, no, it's um they're pretty pretty bad shape property insurance to go up again next year.
Yeah. So, yeah. So, they there was uh there wasn't much room to put vehicles. Um I know the EMS crews put their vehicles in and um it was just kind of one of those deals. No one thought about the other ones and that they got hammered, but there was a few people that were actually there helping in the EOC that the next morning when I went out there, there was um parts of blinkers and all kinds of stuff just kind of laying around the parking lot. So we we took a pretty good hit out there. It was probably 10 minutes solid of golf ball and bigger hail that just kept on going. That storm was running at 10 mph.
So it was just barely creeping along. And then it was we had uh several rotations through the storm. So it was and I've been receiving all kinds of cool pictures of, you know, during the storm approaching and all that. And there was some pretty ominous stuff. But um so stay that direction even though it hit us. Yeah. Around Iuka, it's nothing at house. We didn't have any hail really. Rain, nothing. Yeah, it's crazy. It just uh there right there in that core and we started watching that storm when it was developing over Larn. We had kids fair all day. Yeah.
And then we got to the station, we started watching. We knew that we were probably going to go severe. That storm just kept growing, but it was just creeping along. We thought it was going to get here a little quicker and it did and then uh it just that hail core probably about Maxville that hail core just got huge and then as it came into the county it just kept on getting bigger and then it just followed all the way through that little channel there and uh it it damaged a lot of trees and buildings. The airport really got hammered
hammered hard. So, I went out there Sunday morning early and took pictures and went around IU and took pictures and I've got to meet up with uh KSN after this and talked to them. But yeah, it was uh Yep. pretty interesting storm. It I I'd say it could have been worse, but man, that was pretty bad, right? So, but we'll see what the governor is going to do as far as uh declarations up higher with all this. But, um if at least we have ours done so that we can move on from there. Um I'll make a motion we sign resolution number 2026-01 and proclamations. They need to read this.
No, but will you put in after the We usually have a date, too. So, whatever today is. So, it's 27th. The 27th. So, oh 127-27. Yeah, it'll be because I think we already have some 2601. Yeah, it's not 01 though. Yeah, it should be 4-12, right? Yeah. Okay, I'll second the motion. Well, hold on. Correct. I always
Yeah, I'll remake my motion to the correct numbers. Uh motion would pass resolution number 2026-04-27 and proclamation. Whereas uh Pratt County is declaring a state and local disaster emergency for Pratt County for the storms that occurred on April 25th. Been moved and seconded to approve RE solution 26-04-27 proclamation for the emergency disaster at Hip Crap County on the 25th day of April. All in favor say I.
I post same sign. Motion carried.
Need a copy? Yep. Logan send off. Yep. I'll scan it and send it to you. Cool. Thank you. Did any of the bikers get hit? As far as I know, they somewhere around foyer and so they did a they did a really good job at communicating them with us and um we had uh oh there was um one of the city firemen was kind of helping with all of that and they're radioing in and calling in just kind of giving us an update on where the last bikers were and it looked like um the way they were coming across coming up towards Coats and up they were going to miss a lot of that. So, if anything, they got a really good show, but they didn't get Yeah,
yeah, they didn't get uh into the wind or the hail or rain. So, if they did get any rain, it was very little. So, I think everybody got in safe and sound. I heard somebody ask you on the radio. Yep. Yep. So, nope. All the bikers all turned up just fine. So, it's cool deal. Um also need to have executive session um for So, let's do a request a 20m minute executive session for authority to discuss the zoning rates and a potential zoning application. I'll make that motion. I'll second it.
Been moved and second and we go into executive session for attorney client to discuss zoning regs and zoning applications. All in favor say I. I oppose same sign. We are in executive session.
Executive. No action taken. I'll second it. Moved and second. We come out of executive session with no action taken. All in favor say I. I. Same sign. We're back in open s. And my my board members are uh they didn't know they signed up for uh all these hearings every month. So they did an excellent job last month. Yeah, that it's an excellent board. They they're doing excellent job. I'm very pleased. So, okay. Do you guys have anything for me? Rain with no hard stuff. Rain with no hard stuff. I will put that order in and see.
I don't know if I finish it off. So, I quit looking at Yeah. No, we we definitely need the rain. We just don't need the everything else goes with it. So, um we got chance of rain um a little bit in the middle of the week and then uh Sunday. Yeah, it's be cool. So, all righty. Well, I'm gonna go to my next adventure and from there. Well, thank you guys. Thank you. If you see Doug out there, tell him we're ready for him. We're ready. Okay. If you don't mind.
Yep. I can sure do it. want to do the minutes real quick. Get that out of there. I make a motion we approve the minutes from April 20th, 2026.
Been moved and second we approve the minutes from April 20th 26. All in favor say I. I. Post same sign. Motion carried. I like it when you guys are plopping early. So do I.
Well, don't let me take up much time then. Have a roadway crossing for Havlin Telephone Company. I make a motion to grant application for a roadway crossing at Northwest 50th Street and we give the legal section 8 north half say it was 80th 50th somewhere on Northwest 50th Street.
Well, how they look like they made their own 70th and 70th Avenue. Yep. There we go. I'll second the motion. Been moved and second. We approve a roadway application for Heavon Telephone Company at Northwest 50th Street and Northwest 70th Avenue. All in favor say I. I. I. Oppose. Same sign. Motion carries. You sign this or is that you? Did I put two of them on there?
No, this is supervisor thing. And then the commissioner page is behind No, I put two of them in it. There's your page. Okay, I'll take my second page out. Okay, I have a signed page in there. I just stuck in a different one, too. Another one. See, Vicky, too. Is that for vision? No, it's for mental health. mental health. Well, heck, I got two things then. Vision and mental health.
Okay. Discount. Well, that's true. You didn't know why I joined them. I didn't say nothing, you know. No, noticed I didn't deny. That's the first. That's a So, here's a Patrick Hook. He's a six-month with us at the road department. Oh, I forgot to take my phones off. Sorry. I'll make a motion for Patrick Poke for a six month valuation for a dollar to 1954 an hour.
Motion moved and seconded we approve a pay increase for Patrick Cook for the 1954 an hour for a sixmonth. I guess that's what it was for. Yeah. Okay. Six miles up here. All in favor say I. I. Post. All in favor say I. I oppose. Same sign campers this weekend. We did. I didn't get out. We've had a handful here every weekend for what it been.
Yeah. Wouldn't say full. We had some group out of up north somewhere come down for a weekend too here week or so ago by group five or six.
I'll see them back from you sometime. Any questions for me? Okay. I'll get with you tomorrow or try to Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, just let me know if you want me to go too. So, yeah, know we'll all go. I need to get anybody else while I'm leaving? You're good. Don't think I have anybody left. Well, I can find somebody if you want. You're fine. Um Willie called me to or emailed me today um and said that she had heard from Brian um to um for the public saf safety building. There's a $10,000 deductible on that. and she wanted to know before we started all this. Oh, and also a vehicle and then maybe BJ's truck. Um, but she wanted to know if there were any other buildings that we need. I don't
looked at I wasn't here in town when the hell went through, but looking at the trees like I looked at the old EMS building, the trees there and and I went around the old rest home. Those trees don't look like they I mean they're not any leaves on the ground. So I didn't think so. So just public safety building for now and their their vehicles. I think that core more east of us. Yeah. The bigger stuff any that goes northeast part of town street over school street and that way.
Gotcha. Yeah. I mean, it doesn't have streets on it, but it's more east of town. That's the map he was talking about. Yeah, I know. By unless we got whatever hit last late last night, I don't know what size that was, but by my house, the first one was dimes, maybe. Yeah. That's the only damage I've heard from employees has been out there. There is another truck uh Chaffen's truck. Okay. The communications the ground. Yeah.
Which that might total that one. I don't know. Very possible. I will let her know on that. maintenance request. Yeah, a lot of the requests like they, you know, they tell me about it and there's a there's a lot that doesn't get passed on to you guys because it's little. I mean, the good news is we've taken care of some major things.
Yeah. But um and you know we had that spreadsheet there that had listed all those things and um I think that we took care of some of the major ones but I thought maybe this would be a way that I I know that we're missing things in our office and this would be a way at least that it's like we have a paper trail so like if someone has like like I know Judy on third floor um goes out to the deck and there's that door there well there's something that's loose so every time it's even a little bit windy it just sits there and bangs. Yes. And I think that she would probably really appreciate she can have that or the pigeons there. That's them knocking on the door. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It probably is.
Let us back in. But um this way I thought maybe it would allow us to track these a little bit better. We made a binder so of submitted and taken care of. That way you guys can kind of prioritize what needs happen and also like they're, you know, feels like maybe they're making some progress if they tell somebody that. Gotcha. Well, especially like you. I mean, if there's something wrong with the third floor bathroom, you don't use it. You kind of forget about it, right? Right. Yeah. And especially I I feel like especially for third and fourth floors, this will be nice because, you know, we don't Yeah. We don't know what's going going on up there. So, have they started yet? I thought the new schedule was this week, wasn't it?
Yeah. Um I thought the last I just was looking at that the last one they sent us 27th. 27th. I haven't I haven't seen him yet. Yeah. I think it looks good. Yeah. Okay. You guys are okay with that? Yep. Any organization that you come up with is probably good. Okay. I agree. I am never going to argue with
Okay. Okay. Good deal. Um on on the on that note, um I was wondering if we could from the people that we get like our paper towels and stuff from if we could get toilet paper holders that are like the um like commercial grade like board businesses that have the two big rolls like the the black ones that you see in like schools or any public place. Usually there's like two big rolls. what we currently have is just um like the regular rolls and they're wrapped really really loose and they run out really quick a lot of times before they come back um and it's locked up in a cabinet and so then there is no toilet paper um and also if they leave extra out or even if they don't leave extra out it's being um taken
because it's just like on a roll and so um and it's not even that great a toilet paper so I was wondering if maybe we could look into a solution for that and I can I can order and and call Terry and have him install it or I can come back with quotes for you guys. Come back with a quote. Either that or we don't install toilet paper and you all just use your just bring our own from our office with us when we come. Yeah, I've thought about doing that. And then also there's some old air fresheners like automatic air fresheners that are in there on the wall that aren't
working or they look pretty beat up. I was going to see if we could get those replaced, too. There's air freshener that just sits out on the counter, but I think it's supposed to go into the Yeah, it's supposed to explode every time somebody comes in and out, I think. Yeah. Okay. So, it's COVID season again. The the toilet paper disappeared. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's been happening for a long time, but we're just like, "Oh, well, another roll bites the dust and we need another one out." But I think the word is spreading that there's free toilet paper to get free toilet. Right.
The one place then does how's the agenda look for next Monday? Yeah, I put a draft agenda in there for you guys to review um to see if it looked okay. If you guys wanted me to tell um Bri to add anything to that you guys wanted to discuss.
I don't see anything I want to add. I did talk to discuss. I also talked to the mayor too just to make sure we can have a nice conversation about moving relay. Yeah, I told him like it's pretty much done just Yeah, it's just about getting there are some things that I need that Cody had drafts of that I need application packet stuff like that. We can talk about it all Monday.
Do I know Cameron was coming in? He's not coming in now, but he was he was going to talk about dispatch a little bit. Do we just need to leave that to the dispatch group? Well, if there's any of any issues, it needs to go to the 911 board. Well, that's that's the board that I Oh, okay. Yes. See if I can get resolved there. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Otherwise, it looks good to me. Nothing to add. Hey, I think they do want to put out a joint press release on working together and getting this bill through.
Gotcha. Yeah. I I don't Yeah, we can we can talk. Just as long as you give Heather most of the credit for our I'm gonna do that either way. Yeah, that's right. You're a PR guy. The So, we need to have budge form. We We certainly can because they did for us that one time we met Yeah. at 11. I don't know that we could work it out to BS that it has stakes again. But yeah, I don't know what they're what they're uh one time we had pizzas and
yeah, I just thought since they did with us that one time good idea to return it a favor for him. Yeah. What do you want to do? That's up to you guys. I brought the question up. I don't have any problem with it. Just got to decide what we're going to ask. Yeah. Just want to do pizza and get it. Get it easier. Yeah, pizza's fine. It doesn't matter to me. We can top the steak. Well, I don't either.
Or we can go to some one of the restaurants and get their special for the day, too. Yeah. you. Um, PS Creations does a good job catering. They'll bring something in and you can just plate it up kind of like a smorgus board. It's usually lighter stuff, not not too heavy, but yeah, they would do good. Who's that? Uh, they are in Cunningham, I believe. PNS Creations. Yeah, I don't care. Yeah, that's probably need to do something for them. Yeah, I'll see if she's available. Do we know about how many people?
Going to be their board attorneys. Well, I don't know if they have they do 12 to 15. Yeah.
Six here. Mhm. Anybody else? Five, six, seven. They have five on their board. Regina. Oh, yeah. So, eight. Their clerk. Their IT guy usually comes as well. Yeah. Their guy. Walker usually comes. They have an interim guy. Chief of police usually comes. They have they have found one. I think he's in an interim role, like a temporary role. I don't know. Going to be fine. 25 to 30. Yeah. Steak and shrimp.
I was going to say, do you guys have any suggestions? And what she's going to ask what we want? What do you guys What do you want? Anything but my cooking. Okay, I can do that. We'll see if she's available. Any suggestions? I don't know what all they got. So I don't either. I had I know they're good because when Sherry had the register deeds breakfast group here that I went to that that morning they catered that but that was a breakfast. Hey, I'll call and get some options. Thank you. Yep. Yep.
Yeah. That's all you um Oh, I did have um we did change our open enrollment format. I stuck the flyer in there that I stuck for um that I handed out to department heads and all the employees. I've gotten really really positive feedback on moving it to this kind of format where all of our uh supplemental insuranceances are going to be there. They're going to have a booth there. We're doing four sessions. They can come. Um, so that's for you guys too for so if you have health insurance, you'll want to come and meet with meet with them at one of those four sessions to grab your packet cards, get any new information. Um, but then the supplementals will be there at a booth and if they want to talk to them, they can stop in about their current coverage or getting coverage or um, and it'll just be two days and then here. Uh, public safety building.
Public safety building. Uhhuh. Yep. At the public safety building. And then says right there. Yep. And then and then hopefully if it goes well and we work out the kinks um I'm wanting to bring in like papers and Medicare next year um in between the sessions. So if anyone wants to meet with them and is close to retirement they can and we can get some information um from them too. So I think it'll I think it'll go well. Yeah, we should get everything done at once. That's the plan. Streamline it just a little bit. My turn. I
think so. 10 minute executive session for returning client privilege to discuss zoning related documents. Like that motion. Second. Been moved and seconded. We go into attorney client privilege for zoning documents. All in favor say I. I. Opposed. Same. Motion carried.
Make a motion we come out of an executive session. No action taken. Second it. Been moved and second we come out of executive session with no action taken. All in favor say I. I. Post. Same sign. We're back in open session. Anybody? Oh yeah. You have anything else? I just want to thank uh landfill guy Jason for coming out and mowing the courthouse since uh I guess we do need to talk about that. Is it Is it still up? Right.
I thought I stuck that on the agenda, did I not? Yeah. Yeah, it is. Okay. 91. Uh, I skipped it. Sorry. That's okay. I wasn't looking. So, I'm glad I'm glad. And also, yes, thank you to Jason that Yeah. I mean, if we can just get somebody hired to mow it. I know a lot of them I think the watering is probably I I would agree. The extras, the added on. Yeah. If it was just want to water when people aren't here, it's a lot more work. I talked to Chris rolling. He said he might put a bid in for mowing, but nothing for water. Water. Yeah.
He put a bid in for doing sprinkler system, but he's not going to come water and move homes. And that's could be with anybody. you guys want to start over and just do mowing and weed eating and cleaning up. I mean I if like I think they always blow the sidewalks off as well when they do that but we can have that in there to blow the entryways and stuff off. I think that's probably best. And then we'll see what the governor does with this bill and and then we may have to look at putting in a sprinkling system because that's a lot of work to come here and lose sprinkles and water and try not to do it when we're open and it's just a big pain
and it does create tripping hazard too which I worry. Yeah. With the hose. So, do you want to do another notice or do you want SA to reach out and say mowing as needed through whatever month like contact people or put out another bid? I think just contact the people and say we want to just we only got one bed. So, yeah. And that wasn't a complete that wasn't for everything either, right? It it was but it got pulled because it was an injury. Yeah. So, we don't have a bid. Yeah. Yeah,
I would resubmit it without the water and see if we get any takers first. So, you do want a publish notice? Yes, probably. Shouldn't we? No, it doesn't matter. I mean, at at this point, if we reach out directly, at least we know we're not waiting on something, you know, one to come in. If all you're doing is mowing, right? Edging, whatever. Yeah. I mean, the reason that we went out was because all the specifics that you if we're naring the specifics and just say, "Hey, come do our yard work." Yeah. But I think John's going to spray the the parking lot for
And really, we just have the lawn. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not I mean, we got to get it mowed. As far as watering, I don't know. Have to come in here on the weekends or something. Put up some sprinklers for a while, but we can get through it. Yeah, I'm not discouraging you from doing a notice. It just seems like if really all we're talking about is just reach out to me. Reach out. Okay. Okay. You guys have anyone you want me to reach out to? I don't even know who knows. I've seen a deal on Facebook even. Do you want us to put it out on Facebook? That would be a good way to a lot of people would see it. You know, I don't know. Marshall over there chomping it to bed. I think he wants it.
Yep. waiting to go outside. Well, he was thinking he's going to mow last time between Yeah. during executive sessions. So, didn't mention quite long enough. Go ahead. Yeah, let's do that. I I know the watering is white. Yeah, it has to be because that is and our guy did do a good job of it. Yeah. But like you say, I think before long we're going to have to pony up for a sprinkling system just to find somebody to take care of it as a whole.
Okay, we'll make a motion. We pay the voucher. I'll second it. Been moved and second and we pay the vouchers. All in favor say I. I. Post. Same signs. tell you the bathroom. And just a heads up, I will be gone from Tuesday to Friday for the clerk's conference. It's in Garden City this year. And Susan and Trisha, I think, are going to switch out and try. Susan's going to go on the election day and Susan's gonna or Trisha is going to come with me to the other one. So, well, is Susan gonna come down here? I told her like we had a good laugh.
Thank you. I like it very much. Yeah. Well, I saw that. I just started gigging. I don't know why. There's something wrong with going through the register. It said reimbursement for I thought, "Oh, taxpayers are sending Elvis impersonating school or something." Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what that stance. I'm sure election logistics something, you know. Yeah.
Oh, that's probably what all this logistic and um voter information system probably would be my guess. It is funny that it's all this bridge. I'm going to move this on top. Yep. Yeah, that's a few of the bigger ones.
Oh, this is But this is my pile. That's your pile sign. There's not a whole bunch of them. This is old. Okay. I'm going to give it This is a paint. Okay. Thank you. Here it is right here. Oh, okay. These I always offer, but
I don't the county news think I've ever seen them down. I thought maybe you guys get delivered to your house or or maybe this is something different.
Only thing I'd like to see governor veto. want to pass down to Greg and see if he said she's got Thursday or Thursday night. I thought if she got it on Monday, it didn't count Tuesday, so it pushes it to Friday. That part is right. You don't count the day that you get it. She doesn't count the day that she gets it. She
I don't know whether it puts her when she got it when she didn't get it, but no, you don't count that day. Maybe Friday. be away soon on the agenda for the swim conference. Maybe you can convince him to go talk to Yeah, he would if I would go with him. And I said, "Uhuh with him? Never mind. You would?" Yeah, I'll tell him that.
Okay. DC asked him to speak to I think he was at our our but he's going to be with the
Yeah. You guys have already signed these, but they're Mary's for my payroll one. So, I'm going to stick them in there. Um, we could PS creations could do like a box like individually um like boxed lunches, sandwich, chips, cookies, and they have like chicken salad or roast beef sandwich. You want to do something like that or would you rather have like a spread?
The spread would be a little more formal. Okay. you know, since they served the state. Yeah. Probably too. What was that? Probably let the city.
Okay. I'll send her a message. Every once in a while I got a quick First is born after.
