This is a request to reduce the performance bond amount for Lennar Homes, specifically Preston Trails subdivision. We used to have a bond in the amount of almost just shy of $7 million, and it's being reduced to $207,634.38. This is acceptable per the department all the infrastructure has been installed Except for surface on their second phase, and that's what the two hundred and seven thousand dollars is for Our city attorney has reviewed the language prior to being placed on the board works agenda.

We have a motion and a second. All in favor, please signify by saying aye. Aye. And that'll get us to the street light agreement.
This is a standard street lighting agreement for brand new subdivisions. It is for Northwood Trail off of Old Porter Road. They have eight street lights proposed. When a development comes in wanting NIPSCO-owned street lights, we are responsible for paying for the power of those. So we pass the cost of two years of that on to the developer. And so that's what they're paying for is for their eight street street lights and the amount of $6,134.24.
I'll make a motion we approve the street light agreement for Northwood Trail. Second.
We have a motion and a second. All in favor please signify by saying aye. Aye. And that'll get us to the maintenance bond for Preston Trails.
This sort of goes hand in hand with the bond reduction, the performance bond reduction for Preston Trails, because we did reduce the performance bond, which was guaranteed that they actually installed the infrastructure. Now we need maintenance on that infrastructure that was installed. So it is a maintenance bond that is in place for two years, if not extended, just to guarantee that there are no failures in the infrastructure. The maintenance bond amount is $1,389, I'm sorry, $1,389,392.21. The department would recommend that this be approved.
I'll make a motion that we approve the maintenance bond for Preston Trails.
