Here. OK, we'll start with the approval of the minutes from June the 23rd.

I can probably introduce that one real quick. Once again, this is resolution number 26-14, a resolution to rename certain streets for clarity and emergency operations by Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Portage, Indiana. Several weeks ago, it was brought to my attention that in the Cardinal Crossing Phase 5, We had a curved street that starts out north to south and then ends up going east to west. And on certain designs and certain, you know, plats and other labels, as is customary, you know, Bleacher Street was going, is it north? I have to look. in portage avenue goes one way and streets go the other and so it was labeled that way but then people emergency operations and other folks were getting confused and so it was determined to just call it bleacher drive and so the entire curved street would just be known by one name bleacher drive So I did a little bit of research, double-checked past resolutions. Under law, the Board of Works, by resolution, is the one who has the power to rename a street for clarity and emergency purposes. I've put together this resolution. It was under the recommendation of the Building and Planning Department, and so what you have before you is a properly constituted resolution so that Bleacher Drive clears up this confusion.

Dan, does this have to go through the post office too at some point, or is it just an act that we can do?

Yeah, we'll follow up with the post office. But the official name gets changed here, and then we alert the post office.

So this is, if you recall, we did this a month ago or two months ago. He Howard Wendron is redoing that Pud up north on his property Dayton Street partners originally coca-cola was going to be a public Road it is now going to be a private as part of that private Complex for light industrial warehouses and things like that, so we're just looking to vacate we thought we got all the legal definitions proper but it was only half of it so we're doing the other half that we thought was in there is that sum it up pretty well howard so we're just asking for approval of the vacate petition approval to vacate the the rest of that coca cola on his property on dayton street partners property i'll make a motion we approve the vacate petition for coca cola avenue i'll second

Yes, this one's a little bit stranger. It is actually an overloaded tote service fee, and it's the amount of $10 that they are appealing. I believe they're not here today, but first time this resident has faced this fee, so they've never done this before. They ran across this on the bill, and they've asked the board for leniency this time, and It is clearly spelled out in ordinance. So when someone, a resident, exceeds the volume of their tote, is unable to close that lid, there is an extra fee for that. So that encourages that they stay within the volume of that tote within their service or trash fees. But I'm asking the board to recommend that we appeal or allow this to happen. So in the amount of $10.

Clarify, you're asking us to waive the fee? To waive the fee, yes. Thank you.

There's two more for the that car show with the cruise night car shows there's two more dates uh... to use uh... city property uh... august first in september fifth uh... so looking for board approval for them to use our property for parking in uh... what not uh... i'm asking uh... firing police do we have any issues outstanding with these events anything we need uh... coordinate

So yeah for the August 1st and September 5th, those are the two remaining for the year and
