Bill 606, resolution requesting the approval of an intermunicipal transfer of a liquor license from McCrossin's Landing Pub, LLC to the applicant Silver Ashes Hospitality Group, LLC, located at 728 Copeland Street, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code Statute 4-461.

Hi, good afternoon. Holly Guna from Caputo Law Office. I'm here on behalf of the applicant, Silver Ashes Hospitality Group, LLC. As you stated, we're here because the Liquor Code requires us to come before the City Council, before we transfer a license into the city. A little bit about the business itself. It's going to be called Lost and Found Restaurant, and Nate and Colin, the owners, are here today if there's any questions that you have about the business. It is going to 728 Copeland Street in Shadyside, and they're looking to do sort of a farm-to-table I believe we gave council a copy of the menu as part of our application. So they'll be seating for approximately 70 people and employing approximately 28 to 30 people. They will have anticipated hours of operation closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday 5 to 11, Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday, Monday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eventually, they would like to do a lunch-brunch menu. I'm happy to answer any questions if you have any as far as the liquor process or anything about the license. It is coming from a disinterested third-party seller. And if you have any questions, they're both here to answer any questions about the business. So thank you.

I am enthusiastic about this opportunity to, even though it's something as simple as a liquor license transfer, to be able to daylight that there's a new business coming into Shadyside in the district that I represent. It sounds like a fantastic concept, something that I think will be successful, and I think that the both the Shadyside and Greater Pittsburgh community will rally behind and support. And as a retail street that's gone through many, many changes over many times over the last several decades, one place we're still And one type of business we're still in need of is dining and restaurants. And so this fills a gap there when we see some closed businesses due to the fallout from the pandemic. So really enthusiastic. Wish you all the best. I know that you're already connected with our Office of Nighttime Economy, who can do wonders for you in terms of that support, and look forward to further supporting you as well.
