Whereas there are more than 90 900,000 law enforcement officers serving in communities across the United States, including 40 dedicated members of the Ottawa Police Department. man. Whereas since the first recorded death in 1786, more than 24,000 law enforcement officers in the United States have made the ultimate sacrifice and been killed in the line of duty. The names of these dedicated public servants are engraved in the walls of a national law enforcement offers officers memorial in Washington DC. And whereas 363 new names of fallen heroes are being added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial this spring, including 109 officers killed in 2025. And whereas fallen Ottawa Police Officer Brian Lee Sumber was among the fallen heralds in 2022 and added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in 2023. And whereas in 1962, President Kenny proclaimed the 15th as the May 15th as the National Peace Officers Memorial Day in honor of all fallen officers and their families. Total number of onset electrical inspections, 12. We had nine people take our electrical exam for $2,295. There were two plumbing permits issued with fees of $50. Total number of on-site plumbing inspections, 10. Our code enforcement officer did a total of 194 inspections and our construction coordinator did 183 inspections for a total of permits and licenses of 98 with fees collected of $13,22.50.
