Arts Commission - Regular Meeting

Good evening, and welcome to the November 10 meeting of the Olympia Metropolitan Park District Board. We have a quorum, and we'll with board members Madrone and Green excused. We have no one signed up for public comment this evening. Would anybody like to make any? Just to offer that since we will certainly be done quickly. Okay. Motion carries unanimously. Thank you. That then takes us to item four b. We're gonna go to the director of parks arts and recreation, Silvana new Silvana Neuhauser, and ask her to recap. There's a few changes in our resolution from the meeting a couple of weeks ago.

Good evening. Silvana Neuhauser, Olympia Parks, Arts, and Recreation for the record. And for item four b, approval of a resolution for our 2026 OMPD budget, we have presented a budget that was slightly higher than the projected revenues at the October 21 meeting, and we had a hearing on that. And since then, we have decreased the budget to match the revenues. So instead of using any fund balance, we are proposing a balanced budget with the expected revenues for 2026.

So that decreases the amount in the resolution to $5,760,213 to match the revenue.

I would move to approve the resolution adopting the 2026 Olympia Metropolitan Park District budget.

As a reminder, this resolution as we have it is exactly as it was presented to us a couple of weeks ago for the public hearing. So is there any questions or a motion?
