Good evening, and welcome to the November 10 meeting of the Olympia Metropolitan Park District Board. We have a quorum, and we'll with board members Madrone and Green excused. And my first order is to ask for a motion to approve the agenda. Motion to approve the agenda. Second. A motion and a second. Any amendment or discussion? All in favor, aye. Aye. Aye. Oppose or motion carries unanimously. Thank you. I don't need to say opposed. Alright. So that takes us to public comment.

0:40 – 1:110

We have no one signed up for public comment this evening. Would anybody like to make any? Just to offer that since we will certainly be done quickly. Okay. So then we'll move on to item four a, which is the approval of the October. Is there a motion? So moved. Second. K. We have a motion and a couple seconds. Any amendments? Discussion? All in favor, aye. Aye. Aye.

1:11 – 1:280

Motion carries unanimously. Thank you. That then takes us to item four b. We're gonna go to the director of parks arts and recreation, Silvana new Silvana Neuhauser, and ask her to recap. There's a few changes in our resolution from the meeting a couple of weeks ago.

1:29 – 2:061

Good evening. Silvana Neuhauser, Olympia Parks, Arts, and Recreation for the record. And for item four b, approval of a resolution for our 2026 OMPD budget, we have presented a budget that was slightly higher than the projected revenues at the October 21 meeting, and we had a hearing on that. And since then, we have decreased the budget to match the revenues. So instead of using any fund balance, we are proposing a balanced budget with the expected revenues for 2026.

2:071

So that decreases the amount in the resolution to $5,760,213 to match the revenue.

2:17 – 2:290

Great. Thank you, Silvana. Questions for Silvana? K. And then in in there's any discussion or or suggested changes, I'm looking for a motion to approve the resolution.

2:320

I would move to approve the resolution adopting the 2026 Olympia Metropolitan Park District budget.

2:401

Second.

2:40 – 3:070

We have a motion and a second. Any discussion? All in favor, aye. Aye. Opposed? Motion carries unanimously. Thank you. All right. Then that takes us to item 4C, which is approval of a resolution setting the 2026 Olympia Metropolitan Park District ad valorem tax. And there's no changes to this one, and we don't have a presentation lined up for you.

3:07 – 3:380

As a reminder, this resolution as we have it is exactly as it was presented to us a couple of weeks ago for the public hearing. So is there any questions or a motion? I move to approve the resolution setting the 2026 Olympia Metropolitan Park District at Valorum Tax. Second. K. There's a motion and a second. Is there any discussion? All in favor say aye. Aye. Aye.

3:38 – 4:020

Motion carries unanimously. Thank you. Okay. Is there anything for the good of the order? Alright. Then on my last night as the president of the Olympia Metropolitan Parks District Board, we are adjourned, maybe in record time.
