Board of Finance - Regular Meeting

somebody. So, let the meeting begin and let me ask somebody to make a motion to seat Diane in David Kelsey's place. I'll make that motion. That was Andy. Second. Okay. Uh Mr. Russell made it and uh formerly Ms. Russell seconded it, now known as Kim Thompson. Um so Diane you're seated and um we have one matter on the uh agenda only. Is Anita on? Yeah, you are there. Hi. I I am here and for some reason my camera is not working. So I keep on trying to hit it and it says no it doesn't work. So uh no no problem but and you circulated an email. I think we all know why we're here, but at least for the record, would you just verbalize um why we're here and the matter that we have to vote on?

For the record, um we are here to increase the amount to go to the town meeting tomorrow for the transfer station. The transfer station had an additional invoice that came in after um the board of finance met to approved uh an amount to go to town meeting for an additional it was 14,03 change. Um we got it. It was um a couple minutes before like the ad had to go in. I just rounded it and said 145. we added to the dollar amount making it a $43,050 and it will still be coming from the municipal refuge single string line account and going into the transfer station account. Um, so the new amount would be 43,050.

And I needed that's for the budget that ended the end of June. Correct. Also, um, I did say that they were approximately $40,000 over budget the amount of their revenue brought in. Good. Martha, would you confirm my assumption that the board of selectmen entertained this issue last night and approved submitting the new number to the uh um town meeting? Yes.

Okay. So, um the the issue before us is whether we should uh second uh the uh approval of the board of selectments to submit this new number to the town meeting tomorrow. Can I hear a motion? Well, I make a motion that the board of finance recommend this number to go to town meeting tomorrow. A second. Second. Anna seconds it. Is there any discussion? Hearing none. Uh, call for a vote.
