Conditional Use Permit (CUP 25-006) | Regarding a request to allow string lights, a sunshade, and to host outdoor live music within the approved outdoor dining area adjacent to the east side of an existing restaurant (Joplin's) located at 715 East Ojai Avenue on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday evenings from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
Assessor's Parcel Number: 023-0-150-060. The subject site has a General Plan Land Use designation of General Commercial (GC) and Zoning Classification of General Commercial (C-1). Property Owner: Gabrial and Sandra Hernandez: Business Owner/Applicant: Brittany and Saw Naing (Joplin's Restaurant). Recommendation(s) That the Planning Commission: 1. Open the public hearing, accept public testimony, and close the public hearing; and 2. Consider adopting Resolution (Attachment A) approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP 25-006) to allow string lights, a sunshade, and host outdoor live music within the approved outdoor dining area adjacent to the east side of an existing restaurant (Joplin's) located at 715 East Ojai Avenue, as the findings required in Title 10, Chapter 2, Article 24 (Conditional Use Permits) of the Ojai Municipal Code can be made subject to conditions of approval.
