Community Aquatics Program Implementation and Adoption of Resolution Amending the Salary Schedule to Update the Salary for the Lifeguard Classification, Effective June 3, 2026
RECOMMENDATION: 1. Adopt a resolution amending the Salary Schedule to update the salary for the Lifeguard classification, effective May 20, 2026; and 2. Approve a $5.00 per person entry fee for open and lap swim Program Hours and authorize a $5,000 allocation to fund reduced-fee waivers for income qualified participants; and 3. Approve program hours as presented for daily open swim operations; and 4. Receive and file the completed Agreement with Ojai Unified School District.
Request for Proposal for Sarzotti Park Playground Reconstruction
RECOMMENDATION: 1. Review and provide input for a draft request for proposals for the planning and design of the Sarzotti Park playground reconstruction project. 2. Direct staff to proceed with issuing a request for proposals for the planning and design of the playground reconstruction project.
