“Commissioner Altman. Interesting conversation. I'm definitely in listening and learning mode. Further to that, I just want to understand two things. “Thank you, sir. My only question is, It appears, it says commercial median increase is 30% up and residential overall median increase is 15% up. So am I correct in saying that we have a positive trend insofar as more of the tax bill, the tax bill is being shifted to commercial properties, shifting a little away from homeowners because commercial properties are appreciating faster? Is that a true statement? Because I would be happy if that's the case.”

It is fantastic. so special to, in the entire history of NACO's organization, to get to serve at a moment in time when our own dear, respected, beloved senior member, Chairman Emeritus, you know, gets to achieve this, not only to forward the vision that all of us have and that we've developed together, but for urban counties everywhere and for counties everywhere. And you are such... a great statesman in terms of talking to people who may have a different background but sort of diplomatically reaching that…”

“Thank you, Mr. Chair. So on slide three, where it talks about the income tax rate plan to drop, I really want to speak to the Republicans who can hear me.
