If they're in Zoom, yeah. I have here Riley and Sherry.
Thank you. That's all the sign-ups I have for those in opposition of the SIP. Again, you don't have to be signed up to state your views on this. Anyone else in the room? All right. Nicole, anybody in Zoom? All right. We also have the folks, always leave it open for hearing, just general comment. You don't have to be for or against, but you just want to have a general comment about the application. Anyone in Zoom or in the room? I see anyone in the room. Do we know one in Zoom? All right. With that, I'll go ahead and we'll bring it back to City Council for questions, comments, discussion. Who…
Other questions? Councillor Hillier, then Councillor Sacco.
So my two cents is... You've heard loud and clear about neighborhood concerns, and it sounds like you have a process that you're vetting them with. So I'm not asking you to put this in the SIP or have a separate contract, but I'd like to see a process that you have, but that, as people are saying, that when you do make those complaints, let us know what you've gone through to vet that complaint. That we can validate from the neighbors when I hear when we get an email as council Brooks says complaining about this the potential noise that might come from building B's HVAC you've received that…
And to the point, I forget, was it Council Hillier? I'm sorry. Or it might have been Maria. Sorry, Council Reyes. about, yeah, there's always the city standard, but that's the minimum you can do. You know, if you have an HVAC exhaust that is two decibels lower than the city, you know, if we were talking a few decibels difference, if there's something that we can adjust, fix, and, you know, temper down, because, of course, you guys want happy neighbors across the street. It would make your lives way easier, as we all know. Let's figure out how we can make a very simple system, a feedback loop,…
Thank you So We have a motion discussion further discussions.
If not, this is a roll call vote. I'll go ahead and start with Councillor Sacco.
Councillor Reyes. Yes. Councillor Brooks.
Chair votes aye. It's unanimous. Resolution number 599-26 is adopted. Congratulations.
All right, that brings us to item number two, consideration of resolution number 5992-26, adopted in the City of Tualatin's 2027 State Legislative Agenda. I got Megan and a very patient Tyler and Leah. Thank you for your patience.
Tell them so we can see Octavio. Oh. Yeah, okay.
Other comments or questions? All right. If not, what's the... Feeling about adopting 5992-26.
I have a first and a second motions to adopt resolution number 5992-26, adopting the City of Tualatin's 2027 state legislative agenda. Any discussion on those motions? I think this is a roll call vote again. So go ahead. We'll start with Councilor Sacco.
Councilor Gonzalez. Aye. Council President Pratt.
Chair votes aye. It's adopted unanimously.
Our last item on the business subsection is the League of Oregon Cities 2027-2028 legislative priorities. Based on the notes from our city manager, I guess I'm facilitating this discussion. So I asked you over the weekend to go ahead and look through the LOC's pamphlet. And each counselor pick their five items that they'd like to see as the LOC's priorities. And so I'm going to ask is either Nicole or Sherilyn just to scribble down on a piece of paper as someone mentions a priority that you just keep count. And whatever gets the top five counts, bubbles up to the top, and we can discuss it.
So we'll go ahead and start. Hopefully you all did it, did your homework. We'll start with Councillor Sacco.
All right. My five, again, as everyone else said, no particular order. Public meeting clarity. What a surprise, transportation, 2027. Infrastructure funding.
No, there's one in particular for infrastructure.
I'll be the odd guy out here. Cautious adoption of autonomous vehicles. Because Portland's starting it and it's going to creep to us pretty darn soon. And finally, strengthening economic and workforce development. Survey says.
So what are the ones that are remaining?
Okay, what's the fifth one? What's the last two?
As Councilor Brooks is saying, the public meeting law thing obviously is going to get attention. When I was in action at OMA, that was one of the big topics we talked about. All the other cities. Yeah, I think it's gonna get covered well, but so people won't do public right away. Yeah, I gotta speed you out people out, right?
Again, remember, other cities are across LOC. With that, we had no items removed from consent. Council Communications.
We have a motion to second to adjourn. All those in favor say aye. Aye. Thank you. Good night. Have a good evening.
