  1. Okay, so I feel like maybe we've shared these, but if so, correct me, but have we been here since the police night out? Oh, okay, okay. So one thing that I want to mention is we had the police night out, which actually involved the fire department and the military and a fabulous night at the Independence Center. It seems like we've had a meeting to discuss this. So if I'm repeating myself, it was a great night. We have the library there, a lot of nonprofits, those that are helping with suicide prevention, drug addiction, like just a great community night. When it comes up next year, I would…

  2. I would like some clarification because it seems like by eliminating the public hearing, it might... Limit with the council's hearing as far as or with the public's hearing so what drove?

  3. City Manager, could you clarify, originally we thought this was only going to be a partial replacement and now it has become a full replacement. So what transpired that we weren't able to know that originally?

  4. Okay. First thing I'd like to talk about is our guidelines Good Neighbor Week, which is love where you live. I think we had an amazing week and thanks to everyone who participated, the staff, the website, the videos, the deputy city manager Reynolds for coordinating all the people and the master gardeners. So it's a start and it was a lot of fun to be out with people having them come and pull weeds with us and have the master gardeners tell us about different invasive plants that actually smell really good and they have pretty little berries on them, but they're terrible. Oh, and we did have…

  7. City Manager Anderson, could you clarify that this has, there's no response to what's going on with the county and the assessments, that this is just a typical process that occurs each year, am I correct?

  8. Okay, so we've had a lot going on recently. The first thing I want to mention is this weekend is our event in the skate park. It is from 10 to 2 at the Park Pavilion. One of the things they're looking for for donations is jackets, sweatshirts, that kind of thing. We have the gift cards. It'll be a fun event. It's something that It gets the community involved. It's cleaned up that park. So come out and join us. And then let's see what other things we've been doing. Where am I now? Oh, we also have the community, which it has a couple of different words. It's either good neighbor week or…

  10. The Kavanaugh's were the recipients of the Humanitarians of the Year. So it's Marty, and I'm terrible that I don't know his wife's name. Cindy. Cindy. And so their story was incredible. They talked about getting their kids involved, their grandkids involved. So their give back to the community has just been a lifelong journey. It's not like one thing. And they get all the kids going and It was pretty awesome to have it be our person who is also a former Independence Police Department detective at the last that I remember. But it was a great night to celebrate incredible people. So I'm honored…

  12. I believe that this was one that did not have like any storm shelter or basements is this correct or am I incorrect I don't believe is there a plan on this for since it's a higher density housing now to have some sort of storm shelter for that subdivision so there is no requirement in current codes or ordinances

  13. The Planning Commission was very split on this. So it sounds like it's the lot size that's small is what our concern is. The neighbors have concern about the traffic or that many people. These aren't tiny houses. I mean, what I would view as a tiny house. So what is the feedback from the Planning Commission? What was their concern that they're split? Because we're
