0:371

The next is approved minutes.

0:410

Approve the your committee meeting minutes of March 11.

0:442

We always be just to try it out, we have an error on the roll call.

0:52 – 1:120

So I'll call the board question as a roll call. So I'll edit chair, Susie Merhart. Yep. The chair. We we need a a motion.

1:131

I make a motion

1:140

to update. I'll a

1:161

motion to which one? Update the Yeah.

1:210

To update the the call to order and the roll call.

1:262

I'll make a motion to update. We play around we'd reflect the current chair and vice chair roles.

1:341

I second.

1:422

Problem. Do we vote?

1:480

All in favor.

1:541

Yeah. Alright. Now approve minutes. I motion to approve the minutes.

2:012

With the change.

2:040

So you just yeah. We just did that. He was yeah.

2:062

Very good.

2:071

Second.

2:11 – 2:420

We just got it done. Right? Mhmm. Yeah. We just approved the. Okay. We did everything. Okay. Yeah. So now Mhmm. The oral. Done. I'll just. All right.

2:42 – 3:001

Let's move on to five upcoming and general topics. I was wondering but I guess you guys do that. Right? Like, big opening for the the station

3:000

and Yeah. We'll talk

3:001

about alerts and all that. That's not something you

3:032

need to

3:030

No. Yeah. I'll give an update on that. That is I think this is.

3:12 – 3:231

Six unfinished business. Now we have six one capital improvement program, public art project

3:42 – 4:030

Thanks. We have, a few in progress, capital improvement projects. So the Evelyn Park, that includes the weather fine, roof joints, by the start was selected. They're still going through the, design process for, with the engineering team. Next Shoreline

4:032

have a date when a date when that's I think it will be here. Ready?

4:080

I think they're all, slated for fall or Okay. By the end of the year. Yep. Yeah. Shoreline Boathouse.

4:17 – 4:590

So we're working with Steven Galloway on on the initial design. So he's going to be getting some input, soon from our shoreline manager and, some of the, people who work on in the community services department and the shoreline park team. So we'll get some input from them, and kind of Flora and Fauna to potentially include in, the panels that he'll create to put on the boathouse. And so I know the construction's happening right now on the boathouse, and, that's expected to be done by about November, and then the art will be installed, once the building's ready and ready for the art. And then Village Akeeta Park.

4:59 – 5:120

So we're working with Jameston, similarly and just finalizing the design. And, I think that one may be a little bit sooner, potentially this summer, but, I think we'll just keep kind of the contingency of fall.

5:141

Were you able to confirm the Eveline Park location?

5:180

Oh, I'm sorry. No. I I just wasn't able to.

5:22 – 5:341

Yeah. Remember that was something that I Yeah. Noticed last month that there's no space where we we thought it's gonna be.

5:350

Thank you for bringing that up again. And I

5:381

walked by the boathouse on yesterday. Yeah. It it is really and the but the the board says January 7.

5:470

Yeah. I think it'll open. Mhmm. Yeah. Are they working on it? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

5:521

It's all fenced off. I was surprised to see that. I thought it's gonna be another year.

5:57 – 6:260

Yeah. Yeah. They're all started. Yeah. Good. Yeah. And I through that project, I know Steven is all scheduled out for starting his design and getting his he he sends out his work for production, and so it's all baked into the timeline to be ready for install by end of the season. K. And then we have updates on the project. Only a year and a half in.

6:26 – 6:450

Region. So, yeah, Sophie Gaudet was the first to, start the, and she completed them end of last week or or maybe this weekend. But her they look so fun and whimsical and little planets. So that's at the 100 block by Eureka and Agave.

6:461

So just one really nice colors.

6:480

I like it.

6:492

I I saw a nice little little six year old just having lots of fun with it.

6:561

Yeah. So I'm just Yeah.

6:572

Perfect.

6:58 – 7:310

Mhmm. Yeah. There's been kids. Every time I've gone out there to talk to them, there's kids walking around and stopping to talk to the artist and. And so with Karen, she's, she actually completed hers today. I forgot to include the updated logo, but the, this first one is pomegranates, and they're they look juicy. Know? Look great. So you have to go back go down and and see them in person. But and then the second is the rooster. So she's about, fully complete. I think she just needs to hear them.

7:322

The rooster is brilliant.

7:341

The rooster is amazing. Really good. Oh, good. I talked to her when she was painting the rooster, and she said she got a client

7:430

Oh, yeah.

7:43 – 7:581

Already by working there. Like, somebody who wanted in their house. Yeah. Well, that's great. Yeah. That's amazing. Yeah. What a great story. Yeah. That's really cool. And she and she was so gracious that she Put you on email address. That's cool. Yeah.

7:590

They I think they both put their Instagram handle.

8:011

Yeah. That was a question she's

8:030

our phones out.

8:041

She's she's a lot

8:05 – 8:290

follow them them and and keep up with them. So that's really great. Yeah. And then Catherine Liu, she's painting on weekends. So she started this past weekend. Weather's looking iffy this weekend, so we'll see if she's able to make it out. But, she started one bollard, and, we'll finish it up in the next few weekends. Those are over by Nick the Greek. That's.

8:311

You. Is that in front of the flower shop?

8:362

That's no. It's Nick's in

8:370

Kitty Corner. Across the corner.

8:401

Because it would fit the flower shop.

8:45 – 9:000

Yeah. So human shaped animals. That's Rachel Barnes. She'll be next to Gloomsgiving and Grapevine. And then John Patrick Thomas will, beat the at the end over by Limon women's blood waves. And so it'll be kind of a nice, he'll be on a

9:001

book end.

9:01 – 9:430

Yeah. So that his art will be at Yeah. And then up at the train depot. And so they're gonna start, in a few weeks, April 20. So it'll be a full month of activity and, being able to go out and see people on action. We'll send out, another reminder once we're out there too. Can see progress photos. And this is just a reminder on the rendering of the mural. So Fernanda completed her mural, a few weeks ago. She looked lovely, over at Bringsworth Park by the tennis courts and, magical birch playground.

9:490

So that came out really well.

9:512

The the she improved the we'd asked her to relook at the figures that she had on the right.

9:571

Mhmm. She did a nice job of doing that.

10:000

We did

10:012

a team report. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, she yeah. It was very

10:061

Because I remember, yeah, we

10:080

mentioned to

10:082

her, like, improve the Yeah. Yeah. Problem. Yep.

10:15 – 10:360

And next oh, and just an update on her. So we're still still talking with her about kind of when she'll, like, will just when she's able to start. She had a few other projects lined up. I think she just finished one maybe in Palo Alto or Sunnyvale. And so we're we're trying to work, with her schedule to get her done.

10:371

When when did we first approve

10:392

Two years ago?

10:410

I think so.

10:413

At least a

10:420

year ago.

10:422

It's been a while. Yeah. Mhmm.

10:45 – 11:090

Yeah. That one was longer. Maybe a year earlier than the bullets. Yeah. It's happened. Two and a half years. Another year and a half in the making project. So this this this is the final installation. My photos don't do it justice, but the colors look beautiful out there, and it just really Right.

11:091

It's it's hard to take a picture from the back the of the backside. Yeah. Right. Tried. Super hard. Because of trees,

11:170

and you did a good job.

11:18 – 11:292

The the the process of creating the graphic on on on printing it really came out well. They really, really tried. And they really, really, really good stuff.

11:29 – 11:401

Yeah. And as a designer, I know how hard it can be. Like, what you see on your screen, and it's bright and pops Yeah. Is printed much duller and much less contrast and all sorts of issues you can have when you

11:411

it goes to print. I think this is an example that it took really well.

11:462

Really did a good job. Really, really good job.

11:481

This is not as easy to achieve

11:500

as it is. In the visual. Is that computer generated? Or is it?

11:551

Is it What's it? Yeah. I think he did that.

11:582

Yeah. He

11:581

probably I don't I mean, the volume shop. But then he he scanned it in.

12:042

Right. But that that is the manufacturing process of the in Sunnyvale in San Jose, was That that she was going to who who had to print it. About laminate. And and and then

12:14 – 12:331

Then blow it up. Right? So he I'm sure he he did illustrate it. Yeah. I'm sure he did that. And and then they could blow it up any size. Yeah. They're all nicely nestled amongst the tubes and such. Yeah. But it kinda visually hides that because the attention is drawn to the artwork and lots of

12:330

Yeah. The infrastructure.

12:362

Haven't they worked around we worked around the limitations, didn't we?

12:391

Oh, we measured so many times. That was rough. And I think then I need to went out of fifth time and measured again.

12:460

Again. Yeah.

12:471

So that's that's good. Yeah. Can I ask about the barcodes? Are they are the barcodes gonna be installed? Or

12:570

Yeah. We're working with Anita. I think trying to figure out who's gonna be managing

13:021

In the host. Like, there's I

13:030

We're putting QR codes out gonna host it. It's not that we're able to update that. Keep keep it updated. Right. Right.

13:103

Yeah. I

13:101

think she wanted to know if you guys would host. Right?

13:13 – 13:300

Yeah. Yeah. On the website. Yeah. So we're working on a ordering a a plaque too to represent or to show the the collaboration between the city, Arts Mountain View, VTA. Yeah. Yeah. So I think that you're saying something.

13:30 – 13:422

And will will there be besides the barcode, will it be kind of like a label that kind of describes, you know, what things are left handed each one? Like a title?

13:420

Yeah. I don't know if we'll put a label out for each one of them. Yeah. Yeah. It might just be the QR code

13:481

that people

13:490

can go online to see. Yeah. Yeah. And then we'll have the the black to say the art name, artist name Yep. City, arts, mountain view. And

13:58 – 14:151

it's it's all written already. It's beautiful. You can see it on Anita's side. Descriptions for each panel. And I just envision, like, classes coming out. And then, right, you can pull up the QR code, and you can look at all the plans that are on it.

14:15 – 14:302

You see all the kids from Land O's going by and field trips. There's a library. They all got here, and then you have a class. And yeah. Really, really nice. And it really has you know, it gives a chance to activate the millennium that's been done.

14:311

It definitely makes a big difference.

14:332

Yeah. It's just just wonderful. And

14:37 – 14:550

so we're for ribbon cutting celebration, so we just confirmed earlier this week the mayor's availability to come and help speak to the project. So Thursday, May 7, I'll send out details by email. But yeah. Okay. Thursday, May 7. Not March 28. 04:30PM.

14:552

Not March 28.

14:570

No. Okay.

14:592

So and that that'll be ribbon cutting in the whole whole thing?

15:030

Yep. Yeah.

15:032

Seventh. Okay.

15:040

Yeah. Yeah. So we're still working on a few details, but we'll send I'll send out a formal notice.

15:102

Would you know approximately what time that will

15:130

04:30PM.

15:142

04:30. So we can Savvy Seller can

15:170

Exactly. Excellent. Networking. Happy hour happy hour time. Mhmm.

15:242

Yeah. Savvy Savvy Seller was part of the.

15:270

So Yeah. Okay. That is the last bit of updates I have for our CIP products. Any other questions or

15:38 – 15:562

I just wanted to highlight another, prize that I have, which is in line with our art strategy that we heard from the public of creating whimsy. I saw the planters of all things. Black planters on Castro Street now have a design on them.

15:560

They have

15:572

a short bird and the ones Owl. Look.

16:020

Look. Yeah. Oh. I

16:042

was I was tickled pink tickled pink because it this is a mind shift change.

16:09 – 16:400

Who who did that? So it's a communications consultant. It's part of our downtown communication strategy, like, consultant project that we have going on. And so there's it's kinda similar or aligning with, like, the downtown in motion Yeah. Ribbons and the decorative street the decorative street treatment ribbons. Yeah. They're, you may see more signage soon for some of construction projects. All lines of things make

16:401

the big

16:402

Oh, yeah. It it fits all in memory.

16:431

Right. And, I mean, it fits perfectly with what we heard

16:462

from this with the strategy, which will probably be in the strategy when we come and and you're you're ready.

16:531

The city's taking steps towards. It's just wonderful.

16:582

We're right now. That's what's.

17:010

Yeah. We had to make sure

17:022

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

17:031

Yeah. The right

17:040

one. I know

17:062

somebody who would be Yeah. Yeah. To be happy.

17:111

You get lots of messages if you stop

17:132

the Oh, yeah. Yeah.

17:150

One Any public comment?

17:192

That's good. No comments.

17:22 – 17:580

K. Let's move to seven new business. Visual asking. Fiscal year. Six and seven draft. Awesome. So just a reminder, every year, the visual arts can do every advice advisory body committee and commission. We create work plans, for the next fiscal year. So I think I'm bringing it a little bit earlier than we normally have it. But, well, this is the the draft version.

17:58 – 18:320

We can discuss it today, and then we'll come back to to recommendation to bring to the city council in September. And so I did just wanna highlight some of the accomplishments from this year. So public art strategy, I think I may have forgotten to include that in here, but in the, staff report. But the public art strategy is a huge thing. We've launched all the the work around it, completed the community outreach and fee engagement, and working on finalizing it by, by this fall for for council adoption.

18:322

And and then, again, it's still good for to come to us in June.

18:37 – 19:020

We'll talk about that a little bit too. So and then the exhibition. So we've visual arts committee again selected 10 artist exhibitions for the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts lobby. The next, the next artist from this new group, to exhibit is Xichuan Wang. So she'll all start I think it's two minutes now.

19:05 – 19:500

Then, obviously, the Ringsdorf Park mural, the train depot project, Beaufort Beautification, all of those are on done or underway now. The pilot artist reception was another really big project, in collaboration with multiple groups, which was a work plan item that we've had for a few years and haven't had a chance to, to get to yet. This is going to be a good thing. That event will be a catalyst for future events too, And that strategic outreach looking at the applications for the exhibitions this past year, it was a 60% increase from, I think, the previous two years, which had similar numbers. And same with kind of our social media reach.

19:50 – 20:020

We've been able to we've collaborated on our posts with the artists that we're working with, and so we're we're able to see a greater reach and help them kind of connect with some of our community members who follow us and and vice versa.

20:031

I I would just add that it's great.

20:062

We had 60% increase, and, also, the quality of the art was significantly

20:120

better. Mhmm.

20:142

My my perspective comparing it to pre previous previous. So both quality and quality would be really improved.

20:251

Is the social media, is that the city?

20:28 – 20:460

That's alright. Spoken Our Brownview economic development page. Yeah. Yeah. So now looking at the work plan, this is probably really hard to read, but, I just wanted to try and get that one on one page.

20:46 – 21:160

So I I did shorten the work plan quite a bit. So my suggestion to the committee is essentially just to consolidate some of the things that were in the previous year's work plan. We were kind of repeating some of the same things, and so I I kept the nature of everything that we had before. Collaborating. I think there were a few items that talked about collaborations with advisory bodies, with the chamber, with outside arts organizations.

21:16 – 21:580

So let's just put into one into one line item now and see. And the milestones are those kind of different working with the different organizations and different groups. And then, for the public art strategy, since we're still not to the point of adoption yet, I did remove kind of the more specific items, not that they won't be included in the art strategy and and can't be done next year. But, I think it's probably more appropriate to wait until the council adopts it. And then once that's adopted, we'll be looking at it in real time on what are the things that we're bringing to the to the initial arts committee and and what are the projects that you're working on.

21:580

And so we as as it's adopted as you see it the coming months. And and once it's adopted, you'll be working on it.

22:06 – 22:222

So so so I guess that's with fiscal year 2627. Yes. So some final oh, initiate implementation. Okay. Yep. Yeah. That that that was my question. So you you have it as initiated implementation. Mhmm. Yep.

22:231

Okay. And before we had, like, a couple of implementation items.

22:27 – 22:480

Yeah. I think there was more specific items on, like, reviewing council policy k five and, like, developing a work plan around it and, like, looking at responsibilities. I think some of those things may be done next year anyways, but until we get that sign up from council, I just wanna make sure we're we we can come back and and look at that.

22:481

The sign off is most likely in the fall. Yep. Exactly. September?

22:530

It's scheduled for October.

22:552

October now? Yeah. Okay. Which will be in 2020 next fiscal year.

22:590

Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.

23:031

is for next fiscal year. Right?

23:050

Yeah. Yeah.

23:061

They will still go until June.

23:09 – 23:200

Yeah. And, again, it doesn't mean you can't we can't do any some of these things that are in here. But until we have the direction from council to do them, it seems more appropriate to wait until that point.

23:201

So Just that we don't have another work plan. Sorry.

23:232

Yeah. The instance, but until then. Work but for us, this year will be with with ABC kind of finalize

23:302

What we're what we'll advise council. Mhmm. That's really our our work for this year.

23:36 – 24:190

Yeah. Yeah. And and city staff will have the entire strategy as their work plan. So the visual arts committee, you know, we kind of we use the annual work plan as a guiding tool for how we're focusing efforts as an advisory body. But once this strategy is adopted, that is staff's work. And so there will be implementation items that are for the first year, for, like, for two years, for five years. And so, those things will all be looked at. And so, again, it's not that we're taking them away. It's just how we're strategically thinking about what the year to come is. It's, it's really going to be guided by what the council ends up adopting.

24:20 – 24:331

But we can't update it. Right? I'm I'm just you know, we're getting closer to the implementation, but we're taking the specifics out. Because this is the work plan for next year, basically.

24:33 – 24:462

But but so so my my view is it means it's gonna be in what we're, yes, what we're gonna work on to be to advise council review. That's gonna be the meat of it. That's be the guts of it.

24:461

Right. Right.

24:47 – 25:032

What they do, what they approve assuming that they approve it, that'll be what we work on on the implementation. That'll be the rule of guts. Because we don't have to because something may maybe No. No. I know. Odd things like changing the whole funding model.

25:051

No. I understand.

25:060

One of the milestones. You know,

25:08 – 25:241

what I mean is that the plan that this is true for now. Right? But the plan is for pretty much when the council meets going forward for the next year. Right. Right? I mean, from from July on. Right. July to next

25:242

June. Right? Right.

25:261

So and the council will meet in the fall. That's what I mean. Right?

25:312

Right.

25:31 – 25:431

For now, this is true. This we don't know more, but we we kinda we're leaving it very open, although there's a lot of space work plan left after the council.

25:442

I mean That's

25:44 – 25:561

what I mean. Yeah. I'm just asking if that's if that's the two. Because we only gonna talk about this again next day or the next one. Well, so so so my

25:56 – 26:332

my thought on with this is that we've got meat that we we have the meal that's cooking right now with the ABC, and we all know kind of what the the menu should be, what the meal should be, and the the the flavors of it. And we're waiting for them to come. I'm waiting I'm hoping that they'll meet with you and you too separately just to get your feedback spurred on. And so when it comes to us, we kind of make sure we're all in alignment with what we present that and we know that's gonna be meeting. I mean, we we we we

26:341

Right. But we don't have it in the work plan. That's all I'm saying. Yeah. I can't totally understand.

26:38 – 26:520

In the work plan. So we have it finalized and initiate implementation. We're going to, you know, as part of this review and provide input on the implementation plan. So what the specifics are for next year, we don't know yet until

26:521

No. I I understand.

26:53 – 27:060

Until the council adopts that. So Right. Do adopt it, and you will review it. And you can do some of these things that were in the work line last year, but it depends on what the what the strategy ends up looking like.

27:063

But this sort of provides cover, so allowing you to

27:080

Yeah. Yeah.

27:08 – 27:301

It's pretty still pretty general. I mean, the only thing I'm saying, right, like, now that we're getting closer, we're getting less specific. Right? And and we still need to cover I mean, hopefully, we implement things from October to June, right, which is still in this work plan. And but, you know, if if we feel like this covers whatever we wanna do,

27:303

it gives us flexibility to Yeah. Yeah. Figure out which pieces we wanna implement. I think

27:351

it's one of more like identify, prepare, initiate. It doesn't say we wanna try to implement something. Right?

27:44 – 28:022

But the implementation says we we will do it. We'll implement something. What? We haven't we haven't gotten IAM counsel to fund it. We all know what we want as we've wrote a strategy ourselves, and EBC is kinda validating it. So we kinda

28:021

Yeah. I'm not worried about the content. Right? Like, what's gonna happen with

28:062

But it'll be what's what's funding available.

28:090

You will still have a lot of stuff to do in the coming year.

28:112

So that's

28:121

what Yeah. I just wanted to say it's it's like

28:153

gonna ask Susie, is there different language? Yeah. Like Yeah.

28:181

It's just less specific. Right? It sounds to me more like what we're gonna do until next June is thinking about how we can

28:282

Next June.

28:291

And it in the previous iteration, it said more like, this is the things we

28:34 – 28:590

you know, like Once we once the city council adopts the strategy, then we have the detailed explanation and description of things that are in that next year work plan. So once it's adopted, we have a year work plan, essentially. Because in the implementation plan of the strategy, the goal is to is to define what are the near term, midterm, long term items, and those near term things are gonna be the Right.

28:59 – 29:101

I understand that we still have a lot of work to do. Right. Mhmm. I just don't wanna hinder us to if we could implement something until next June. Right? Or So we will have something

29:112

one one.

29:121

Say, but that's not in the work plan.

29:142

The mean, the It

29:151

will be in the strategy. So there will be a you know, if we start with this and then the I mean, it says initiate implementation

29:220

of We want to just change to implement?

29:261

No. No. No. No. Doesn't It's just it feels a little bit, like, more we're start it, less than we're gonna but it's

29:352

Well, the

29:351

If people are fine with it, it's fine.

29:37 – 29:502

So when we come up with the usually, they when you present something, a plan, city council will insist on and it's best practices with some near term things that we can do. Yeah. So what's two years No.

29:501

No. I mean, we talk

29:512

That that

29:511

that Because we talk about the work plan. Right? I'm just wondering if we how we best say it.

30:00 – 30:132

Should be reached. Would you would you like things like because we're talking about two People two two to four year plans or something? What near near implementation was near term?

30:131

No. I mean, it says initiate implementation. So I think I mean, yeah, if I'm following correctly, I don't have any issue with these. Yeah.

30:200

No. I mean yeah.

30:22 – 30:391

I I was more commenting on that we had more more instruction before, and now we're getting close to it, less instruction. Just wanna prevent that it doesn't look sound like we're only gonna sort it out and not give us open it for us to also to,

30:390

like, to implement something. Just if you put

30:43 – 30:581

something specific and then counsel things, something else is more important to start with, then That's true. There's nothing there that is overridden, so to speak. Need to be too specific. That, I I totally agree.

30:583

Yeah. I think it's just a a timing piece. I would say by next year, we'll have Yeah.

31:053

details, but we have more. Yeah. It's just a matter of timing this time around. We don't wanna predetermine what counsel might try and do.

31:120

Yeah. Yeah.

31:143

So this actually gives you the most flexibility by leaving it a little more high level. Yeah.

31:192

What about the new person that's gonna be hired? Does that come into the work plan at all? Or

31:273

No. I mean, the the staffing

31:292

The staffing. Will will mean the

31:313

you know, who's executing and and providing support to the work plan. It it this you doesn't this isn't Kirsten's work plan. This is the BAC. So whatever staff is supporting the BAC Okay.

31:410

Will be responsible. Yeah.

31:443

So it does it doesn't affect this. Yeah.

31:521

I mean, yeah, we can yeah. It it may affect, I guess, you know, if that person suggests new completely new strategies or something. But we can

32:013

They'll they'll still be held to the public art strategy and the big council direction. So they'll they'll be bringing in.

32:091

And we don't know. So

32:110

Yeah. Yes.

32:171

So this is the whole work plan. Right?

32:200

Yeah. Yeah.

32:211

Like the your beautiful one page.

32:243

That's amazing. I'm gonna do the downtown committee one.

32:311

So do you vote on this?

32:330

I don't think we need to vote now. I'll bring it back to the committee again and for presentation. I think

32:453

we just I think we're supposed to take the bring you the draft, get feedback, and then we'll bring the finalized burden the next week.

32:560

We'll bring it back.

32:572

And you presented in September?

33:000

It ends up going to the city council in September after their break.

33:052

With all the

33:06 – 33:520

Yeah. Yep. Okay. April is arts, culture, and creativity month. Just an annual statewide recognition, of arts and culture in California.

33:54 – 34:380

As part of this with the city, to support of to support this month, the mayor will be, presenting a proclamation to the Community School of Music and Arts next Tuesday evening. And so it's recognizing the time, the work, and, you know, all the work that they do to, support and educate children and adults, people of all ages, and arts and music. So that'll be done next Tuesday. And just noting all of the things that we're doing around art this month too, the bowlers. We've done some promotions online, and I've quite a bit in different city newsletters.

34:38 – 34:550

I know one went out today and talking about all different projects. So if you wanna see more information about that, you you can go to caforthearts.org, and you can post if you post anything online this month about arts, use the hashtag joy action power.

34:571

Isn't that proclamation at the

34:59 – 35:380

CSMA? The city council meeting. Mhmm. Alright. Just these photos of the planters. Okay. So update. So our next meeting, May 13 and June 10, for the public art strategy, discussion with the visual arts committee. We're looking at holding a special meeting on July 8. So I'll send out notice about that so make sure that we'll we'll have a quorum.

35:380

So but I'm just putting that on your calendars now. We'll try and hold a special meeting on July 8, have the the full discussion of of our strategy.

35:482

Mhmm. So prior to meeting on July 8, I'd really recommend that the subcommittee that we had It's

35:570

the plan. Yeah. That's the plan.

35:581

Haven't heard, though.

36:000

Yeah. Sent an email. You didn't send an

36:021

email today? No.

36:03 – 36:150

Not last week. Okay. Yeah. I sent an email outlining kind of the next steps. So Oh, yeah. Be a little bit it'll be a little bit until Yeah. We're able to have that discussion, but we will send you guys a draft of the work that we can

36:162

Yeah. That'll make it'll make the July 8 meeting productive.

36:211

Yeah. I

36:21 – 36:482

have, like, subcommittee weigh in. I have another question regarding the when is it? Fifth, seventh, the training depot inauguration. Will the city give a kind of recognition to Art's Mountain View for their work?

36:510

Mhmm. It be

36:522

nice to give to give a kind of approximation of thank you or something like that

36:572

For all the work that Anita did because it wouldn't be without Anita.

37:022

And, it would be it would be nice city to kind of recognize Arts Mountain View for for the word.

37:09 – 37:252

And, of course, she could also use that. Sub for subsequent project. But given her tremendous work and dedication to to and and the impact on the city, it'd be nice if the city could have a little proclamation, thanking her for whatever the

37:260

Yeah. Yeah.

37:272

Form it takes.

37:280

She's fully involved. Arts Mountain View, is fully involved in the planning of this, and, she will be speaking. The mayor will be presenting. Yeah.

37:361

She will be speaking.

37:372

But but but it'd be nice if the if the city manager and the mayor also just keep a proclamation thanking them Yeah. When we have when when we have it.

37:45 – 38:173

We'll have to look at there's Yeah. Specific guidelines or the mayor has for proclamations, but certainly in their comments, thanking. I think, you know, the beauty of the ribbon cutting is gonna be really highlighting just the multi organizational partnership. The ETA will be there. The city will be there. Obviously, it's Mountain View. We're hoping have the artist there. So it's really gonna be a celebration of the partnership. And and, certainly, I can imagine the mayor's comments highlighting and appreciating all those players. Yeah. But, yeah, we certainly I need us make this happen.

38:172

Yeah. I mean, it wouldn't happen without

38:181

me. Yeah.

38:190

Very true. Yep. And

38:21 – 38:392

a tremendous it's a tremendous work by by her. Will I guess, also, the historical society will Yeah. Because because because of work with PAM and whatnot. Mhmm. Okay.

38:560

So I'm

38:571

at 06:43.

39:040

We can

39:051

all go listen to music downtown.

39:070

Yeah. That's great.

39:082

go and see the

39:090

promos. Music tonight.
