Celebrating 95 years of service and driving into the future together. The city of Montebello was recently named most business friendly city in LA County. And there's evidence to prove it as a number of businesses continue to open shop there. All new at 630 in this morning's Tony in Newtown. I'm taking you to Montebello's downtown corridor where it's all about progress. While the spot continues to grow and evolve, so does the city. To see it happen slowly, over the years, it's been so amazing. And it's a dual city, and we're so supportive of small business.

Now I get people from LA who know about Montebello.

Before, I was like, what's that? Where's that at?

Now it's like, oh yeah, I know that town. It's right next to East LA. It's like 10 minutes from downtown. Barney Santos is a proud Montebello. It's helping Mayor Georgina Tamayo step into her new role with plenty of optimism.

And really tell our story that people know what Montebello is about. 2026 is going to be great for Montebello.

It's been an amazing year, winning the award for the most business-friendly city and also having our plans recognized by the American Planning Association. But let me tell you, we have plans to make 2026 that much more successful for the city of Montebello. And Montebello is getting recognized for it. In the small city category, he says a lot of the progress stems from a new general plan updated for the first time since 1973.

We've issued approximately 2,500 building permits this year. and really tell our story that people know what Montebello is about.

It's been an amazing year winning the award, both business friendly city and also having our plans recognized by the American Planning Association. But let me tell you, we have plans to make

We're going to have a round one coming in, a yard house coming in, so that will be more restaurants and entertainment as opposed to retail since we're seeing the retail industry suffer a little bit.

Montebello has issued approximately 2,500 building permits this year, with 30% of those permits being for commercial properties. The downtown corridor will soon see five new restaurants and a new stoplight that will make it more pedestrian friendly. There's also a new Dutch house coming in.

Well, it's so hard in California for businesses to begin with. It's great to see a city kind of giving you a helping hand.

This week, the delegation from Montebello's sister city, Ashiya, Japan arrived at Los Angeles International Airport. They were warmly welcomed by city staff, Mayor Tamayo, and members of the Montebello-Ashiya Sister City Association. This visit marks another meaningful chapter in the long-standing friendship between our two cities. As part of the reception, Montebello's public affairs team conducted a special Reporter on Arrival interview with Ashiya Mayor Takashima, capturing his first impressions and reflections as he begins his visit to Montebello.

So welcome to California. Thank you. After your journey from Japan, how are you feeling arriving here in Montebello's sister city region? Yes, finally we came. Yes, we waited for a long time, like 10 years.

Yeah, so I'm glad to be here. Montebello and Shia share a longstanding friendship between our two cities. As part of the reception, Montebello's public affairs team conducted a special reporter-on-arrival interview with Shia Mayor Takashima, capturing his first impressions and reflections as he begins his visit to Montebello.

After your journey from Japan, what do you hope to share about a Shia's culture with the people you meet during your visit?

Finally, we came! We waited for a long time, like 8 years.

Montevero and the Shia share a long-standing sister city relationship. What does this partnership mean to you personally as mayor?

This is one of the most important relationship for us. Speaking of cultural exchange.

What do you hope to share about Ashiya's culture with the people you'll be exploring Los Angeles County this week? What are you most looking forward to seeing or doing while you're here?

Okay, let's pick one. We go to so many places, but in our region, we have national parks, and we live in the national parks. Yes, create lasting relationship. Is there anything specific you've heard about Montebello that you're excited to experience in person? Serve the nature.

That is what we wanted to bring. I actually heard of so many things from our student ambassadors. What are you most looking forward to seeing or doing while you're here?

Oh, I say I want to go to so many places, but number one is meeting people. meeting people, we can exchange our ideas, our cultures, and creating lasting relationships.

Speaking of the student exchange, the ambassadors you've heard about, Montebello, they've been important that you're excited to experience in person. Why do you think programs like the student ambassadors, why do those programs matter?

Montebello has so many things from our student ambassadors. We send student ambassadors every single year. is a kind of foundation of our relationship. For example, I see an ambassador keep visiting Montebello. Even after graduation, my message is very simple. Montebello, so like barbecue, something like that. Yeah, so we are waiting for it.

Speaking of the student exchange, the ambassadors, they've been an important part of this partnership.

Why do you think programs like those student ambassadors, why do those programs matter?

Oh, we always welcome you, so please keep visiting. What would you say to encourage people to learn more about Ashiya and the sister cities program? In this week, even after graduation, my message is very simple. very first source.

And after that, because people's connection matters.

For a 7,000 square foot two-story state-of-the-art fire station to be built here next year that will house a new firefighter.

There is no shortage of dry brush surroundings.

in the Metro Heights area of Montebello. The Montebello Fire Department responds to 500 to 600 calls a month. The city's fire chief, Fernando Pelaya, says it's also where 1,200 new homes are being built above Montebello Boulevard.

And now, a new fire station, 58, will help reduce response time.

City leaders say they've got to secure more than $3 million in funding for a 7,000-square-foot two-story state-of-the-art fire station to be built here next year.

That is a very common concern. Kim Perfecto moved into the Metro Heights area three years ago and is relieved to hear she's getting some firefighters as new neighbors. The Montebello Fire Department responds to close proximity to firefighters in case of an emergency. I think we're very densely populated, providing that added peace of mind for the city of Montebello.

Mayor Georgina Tamayo says Fire Station 58 will help reduce response times as residents face another growing concern. One of the issues that the residents in particular here have brought up is fire insurance, how high and how difficult it is to get the fire insurance.

That is a very common concern around here.

As President and CEO, Ringo Guadiana shows us how the Troy team manufactures quality public safety equipment.

Welcome to Troy Products. My name is Ringo Guadiana. I'm the CEO and President here at Troy Products.

I'm also investing in robotics and automation. So we ensure products and manufacture everything that goes inside of it. At least it comes in raw and it needs to finish. So we put their radios, their lights, their sirens, about 50% of our staff is from the area of Montefiore, East LA, Bell Gardens. We also have a full department of marketing agents, purchasing agents.

And once they're bent, we send over to our welding stations, which are welded together. And sometimes it's also an agency that gives back to the community. We smooth out all the rough edges. Here at Troy Products, we're also investing in robotics and automation. Troy's products that are repetitive. And that requires specific attention. We also have a summer council where they put their radios, their lights, their sirens. About 50% of our staff is from the area of Montbello, East LA, Bell Gardens.

In doing so, we've incorporated the latest state-of-the-art technology to make sure that our products are not only safe and wholesome, but we're happy to have you here today so we can highlight some of the great products in the food industry.

We are currently shipping and exporting products to 22 different countries around the world. And that can be anything from a better restaurant, like if you had a school lunch, something you would buy at a Starbucks in Japan or a burrito. There's a big probability that those products all came from our plant here in Monaco. to export a lot of more Monobello fried and floured tortillas. And not only within our country, but around the world.

Our roots in Monobello run really from the early 60s when my dad decided to immigrate from Jalisco, Mexico. For every application in the food industry, we are currently shipping and storing products in 22 different countries around the world. And that can be anything from the mop and eventually ended up on the top. All of our family is involved in the business. It's family owned and operated. Gone from that original plant that we bought to building an 8,000 square foot production facility. Specifically suited for making tortillas. We really look at ourselves as being from Montebello. And being a proud member of the business community. It's a great city. It's afforded us tons of opportunity. And we're very, very happy to be part of the fabric here in the city of Montebello. At our old facility on the corner of Maple and Mines, we've literally started from the mop and eventually ended up on the top.

Today, we're visiting Dowelco Incorporated, a manufacturer that's been producing high-quality aerospace and industrial components since 1946.

Here's Alfredo Rodriguez, the money assurance manager of Dow Elko, to tell us more.

Hi, my name is Alfredo Rodriguez. I'm the quality assurance manager at Dow Elko. The money agent has been put into the metal. They're going to be put together with a rubber. After they put them on the mold, they get melted, and the sandblaster is going to be impotent. When we send the metals to the paint department that we sell to the customers so they can apply it to the funding agent. Once they will be checking the metals for any imperfections into the molds. The molds are pre-heated.

We have to sub-cluster the metal so that the bonding agent is taking the good heat from the metal so that they will be put together with the rubber.

After they put it on the mold, we will be sending those to the team that is ladies. They will be checking for any imperfection on the metal itself or the silicone. When we send the metal to the team within the process, like cleaning, sub-clustering, So now they're going to apply a full rack packaging, getting ready to melt the paint. They're going to be put on the press line, put them together, into the molds, because they're preheated to a certain temperature, like from one side to the other side. So by the time they produce thousands of these parts, they will melt and get ready to be used. After they put them on the press line, they will be sent in both the team department and the ladies, and they will be checking for any imperfections. It's right next to East L.A. or it's like right next to downtown. Barney Santos is a proud Montebello business owner. And there's evidence to prove it as a number of businesses continue to open shop there. All new at 630 in this morning's Tony in Your Town. I'm taking you to Montebello's downtown corridor where it's all about progress. While the spot continues to grow and evolve, so does the city. Several new businesses are popping up in Montebello and it's turning heads. And Montebello is getting recognized for it. In the small city category, the L.A. County Economic Development Corporation recently honored Montebello as the most business-friendly city in Los Angeles County. It's helping Mayor Georgina Tamayo step into her new role with plenty of optimism.

And really tell our story that people know What Montebello is about, 2026 is going to be great for Montebello.

It's been an amazing year, winning the award, most business-friendly city, and also having our plans recognized by the American Planning Association. But let me tell you, we have plans to make 2026 that much more successful for the city of Montebello. And Montebello is getting recognized for it. In the small city category, the L.A. County Economic Development Corporation recently honored Montebello as the most business-friendly city in Los Angeles County.

We've issued approximately 2,500 building permits this year, with 30% of those permits being for commercial properties.

The downtown corridor will soon be great for Montebello.

It's been an amazing year, winning the award, both business-friendly city and also having our plans recognized by the American Planning Association.

But let me tell you, we have plans to make 2026.

We're going to have a round one coming in, a yard house coming in. So that'll be more restaurants and entertainment as opposed to retail since we're seeing the retail industry suffer a little bit.

This visit marks another meaningful chapter in the long-standing friendship between our two cities. As part of the reception, Montebello's public affairs team conducted a special Reporter on Arrival interview with Ashiya Mayor Takashima, capturing his first impressions and reflections as he begins his visit to Montebello.

How are you feeling arriving here in Montebello's sister city region? Yes!

Finally we came! We've waited for a long time, like 10 years. There's so many cultures here! I'm glad to be here. So we cherish nature. So in our region, we have national parks. Even we live in Montevideo, it's the only sister city for us. So this is one of the most important relationship for us. Speaking of cultural exchange, what do you hope to share about Ashia's culture with the people you meet during your visit?

You'll be exploring Los Angeles County this week. What are you most looking forward to seeing or doing while you're here?

Okay, let's pick one. So I wanted to go to so many places, but number one is meeting people. Meeting people and exchange our ideas and our cultures. Creating lasting relationship.

Is there anything specific you heard about Montebello that you're excited to experience in person?

Observe nature. That is what we wanted to bring.

You'll be exploring Los Angeles County this week. What are you most looking forward to seeing or doing while you're here?

I say go to so many places, but number one is meeting people. Yeah, meeting people and exchange our ideas, our cultures, and creating a lasting relationship.

Speaking of the student exchange, the ambassadors, they've been an important part of this partnership. Why do you think programs like the student ambassadors, why do those programs matter?

I actually heard so many things from our student ambassadors. Yeah, we send student ambassadors every single year. It's a kind of foundation of our relationship. For example, if a Shia's ambassador keeps visiting the metro, even after graduation, my message is very simple. Keep your connection. Yeah, so we are waiting for food.

Speaking of the student exchange, the ambassadors, they've been an important part of this partnership. Why do you think programs like the student ambassadors, why do those programs matter to Shia?

Oh, we always welcome you, so please keep visiting. What would you say to encourage people to learn more about Ashiya and the Sister Cities program? In this week, even after graduation, my message is very simple. That'll be the key for our souls. Yes.

And that's because people-to-people connection matters.

For a 7,000 square foot two-story state-of-the-art fire station to be built here next year. that will house eight new firefighters.

There is no shortage of dry brush surrounding the Metro Heights area of Montebello. The Montebello Fire Department responds to 500 to 600 calls a month.

So we're busy.

1,200 new homes are being built here above Montebello Boulevard.

Mayor Georgina Tamayo says Fire Station 58 will help reduce response time. City leaders say they've thought to secure more than $3 million in funding for a 7,000-square-foot, two-story, state-of-the-art fire station to be built here next year. That is a very common concern.

This is extremely critical for us.

The state is doing this area a fire hazard severity zone.

The Montebello Fire Department responds to 500 to 600 calls a month. Yeah, we're busy. That'll be the fourth fire station here for the state of Montebello.

Mayor Georgina Tamayo says Fire Station 58 will help reduce response times as residents face another growing concern. One of the issues that the residents in particular here have brought up is fire insurance, how high and how difficult it is to get the fire insurance. That is a very common concern around here.

Kim Perfecto moved into the Metro Heights area three years ago and is relieved to hear she's getting some firefighters as new neighbors.

We could always use close proximity to firefighters in case of an emergency. I think we're very densely populated.

As president and CEO, Rico Guadiana shows us how the Troy team manufactures quality, public safety equipment.

Welcome to Troy products. My name is Rico Guadiana. I'm the CEO and president here at Troy products. We take you to our robotics and automation.

So, the finished product is everything that goes inside of it. It comes in raw and it needs to finish product. We fabricate their lights, their sirens. About 50% of our staff is from the area of Montefiore. And it goes through our lasers and our full department of marketing agents, purchasing agents.

And once the event gets sent over to our welding stations, in the weld source department, Trump Products is also an agency that gives back to the community.

We smooth out all the rough edges that work here, investing in robotics and automation, transforming products that are repetitive and that require specific attention.

We also have a commerce program with their radios, their lights, their sirens. About 50% of our staff is from the area of Montebello, East LA, Bell Gardens.

We also have a full department of marketing agents, purchasing agents, engineers, and managers in the human resource department.

Today, we're spotlighting Wilbur Curtis Company, known worldwide for their commercial coffee brewers, iced tea systems, and specialty drink equipment. Within these walls, we operate our own machine manufacturing shop where we cut and bend the metals that produce top-of-the-line commercial coffee, tea, and specialty beverage equipment and accessories. Each machine is produced by hand on one of our seven production lines. We are proud to employ over 100 of 15 employees, of which 10% live in the city of Montebello. With our average tenure being 14 years and our longest-tenured employee having been with us 44 years, You have the right to trade a beverage from one of our machines to prove your happiness. Within these walls, we operate our own machine manufacturing shop where we cut and bend the metals that produce top-of-the-line commercial coffee, tea, and specialty beverage equipment and accessories. Each machine is produced by hand on one of our seven production lines, before being extensively tested for quality control, prior to being professionally packed for distribution. Remember to tell us more. Hi, my name is Alfredo Rodriguez. I'm the Quality Assurance Manager here at Dow Alco. Welcome to Made in Montevelo, a video series recognizing the incredible manufacturers in our city who create quality products and local jobs that power our economy.

Today, we're visiting Dow Alco Incorporated, a manufacturer that's been producing high-quality aerospace and industrial components since 1946.

Here's Alfredo Rodriguez, the quality assurance manager of Downalco, to tell us more. Hi, my name is Alfredo Rodriguez. I'm the quality assurance manager here at Downalco. The company has been in the market since 1986, so they're going to be putting together with our owner. After they put them on the mold, they get melted, and the sunblaster is a really important part of the whole process. It will be used to make things look good. I'm going to guide you through the process to put the paint in the department that we sell to our customers so they can appreciate it. First step will be checking the metals for any imperfections you put them together into the molds. The molds are preheated to certain temperatures so that the bonding agent is taking time to integrate the metals so that they will melt together and get rubber. After they put them on the fire, they get melted and the sandblaster department, the ladies, they will be checking for any imperfections on the metal itself. When we send the metal to the cleaning department, like cleaning, the sandblaster, so they can operate it, put it in a bag, package it, and get it ready for shipping. The parts that we ship to different companies, they will be used on the planes, and those parts are preheated to a certain temperature, like planes for 100 degrees, etc.

So by the time that they're all ready, thousands of these parts will be going every year.

After that, we'll call the press operators, and they will be sending both to their team department, and their parts will be checking for any imperfections on the metal itself or the silicone. Celebrating 95 years of service and driving into the future together. The city of Montebello was recently named most business friendly city in LA County. And there's evidence to prove it as a number of businesses continue to open shop there. All new at 630 in this morning's Tony in Newtown. I'm taking you to Montebello's downtown corridor where it's all about progress. While the spot continues to grow and evolve, so does the city. Several new businesses are popping up in Montebello, and it's turning heads.

And Montebello is getting recognized for it.

In the small city category, the LA County Economic Development Corporation recently honored Montebello as the most business-friendly city in Los Angeles County.

It's helping Mayor Georgina Camayo step into her new role with plenty of optimism.

And really tell our story, let people know what Montebello is about. 2026 is It's going to be great for Montebello.

It's been an amazing year winning the award, both business-friendly city and also having our plans recognized by the American Planning Association. But let me tell you, we have plans to make 2026 that much more successful for the city of Montebello. Joseph Golombi is the director of planning and community development. He says a lot of the progress stems from a new general plan updated for the first time since 1973. We've issued approximately 2,500 building permits this year, with 30% of those permits being for commercial properties. The downtown corridor will soon see five new restaurants and a new stoplight that will make it more pedestrian-friendly. There's also a new Dutch Bros coming to town along with a hobby lobby.

But let me tell you, we have plans to make 2026 that much more successful for the city of Montebello.

Montebello, in its momentum era,

It was something we had envisioned always for a long time. Now it's starting to change. It's so exciting.

It's an energy that I haven't quite seen before. It's really cool. All the locals are talking about it. There's things popping up like, whoa, Montebello. Yeah.

It's so hard in California for businesses to begin with. It's great to see a city kind of giving you a helping hand.

We're going to have a round one coming in, a yard house coming in, so that'll be a restaurant and entertainment as opposed to retail since we're seeing... Woo!

Why do you think programs like the student ambassadors, why do those programs matter?

Yeah, we, you know, student ambassadors, we are... and is a kind of foundation for our relationship. I say, for example, like, Ashiya's ambassador keep visiting Monteverlo. Even after graduation, my message is very simple. Keep your connection. Yeah, so we are very important.

Speaking of the student exchange, the ambassadors, they've been an important part of this partnership. Why do you think programs like the student ambassadors, why do those programs matter? Visit Ashiya.

Because you know, we are survivors, so please keep visiting. What would you say to encourage people to learn more about Ashiya and the sister cities program? In this week, my message is very simple. There is no shortage of dry brush surrounding the Metro Heights area of Montebello.

The Montebello Fire Department responds to 500 to 600 calls a month. That'll be the fourth fire station here by the city of Montebello. Mayor Georgina Tamayo says Fire Station 58 will help reduce response times as residents face another growing concern. One of the issues that the residents in particular here have brought up is state-of-the-art fire station to be built here next year. That is a very common concern.

Hi, my name is Alex Arevalo, I'm president of Arevalo Technology. To make sure that our products are not only safe and wholesome, but are quality-minded. products that we make for our community. Unbeknownst to you, you've had current products, shipping and sporting products, things from the venue, from countries around the world. And that can be any restaurant, if you had a school lunch item, something you would buy in a Starbucks or Japan, there's a big probability that those products all came from our plant here in Monaco. Our roots in Montebello run not only from the early 60s when my dad decided to immigrate from Mexico. The first job we ever got currently here in the city of Montebello has 22 different countries around the world in mind. And that can literally start from a better for you item and eventually end up on the top. All of our family is involved in the business. It's family owned and operated. We've gone from that regional plant that he bought to build and to export.

A lot of our Montebello production facility, not only within our country, but around the world. Our roots in Montebello are really rooted in Montebello and being a proud member of the business community here. It's a great city of Mexico. Within these walls, we operate our own machine manufacturing shop where we cut and bend the metals that produce top-of-the-line commercial coffee, tea, and specialty beverage equipment and accessories. Each machine is produced by hand on one of our seven production lines, before being extensively tested for quality control prior to being professionally packed for distribution. With our average tenure being 14 years and our longest tenure in employee having been with us 44 years, Our goal is to create machines that enable our customers to prove happiness. Within these walls we operate our own machine manufacturing shop where we cut and bend the metals that produce top of the line commercial coffee, tea, and specialty beverage equipment and accessories. Each machine is produced by hand on one of our seven production lines before being extensively tested for quality control prior to being professionally packed for distribution. Today, we're visiting Dow-Elko Incorporated, a manufacturer that's been producing high-quality aerospace and industrial components since 1946. First, I will be checking the metal for any imperfection.

Hi, my name is Alfredo Rodríguez.

I'm the quality assurance manager at San Blasio Metal.

The building agent has taken good care of the metals. They're going to be put together with a grommet. Once they put them on the metal, they get melted. And the San Blasio is a really important part of our process to make things really good. When we send the metals to the paint department, to a multi-sandblaster, get them packaged and ready for ship. First step will be the checking of the metals for any imperfection to put them together into the molds. When we get the metals, we have to sandblaster the metals so that they're binding to each other so by the time the metals are put together, they will melt together and get rubber. After they put them in the mold, they get melted and the sandblaster is really important. They will be checking for any imperfection of the metal itself. When we send the metals to this department with the process, like cleaning, stamping, so they can apply a number on it, put it in a bag, package it in, get it ready for ship. The parts that we ship to different companies, that will be used on the planes are preheated to certain temperatures like parts of the planes from one side to the other side.

By the time that the robot gets used to it, it will melt these parts and get ongoing every year.

Several new businesses are popping up in Montebello and it's turning heads. Celebrating 95 years of service and driving into the future together.

And now it's like, oh yeah, I know that town.

It's right next to East L.A. The city of Montebello was recently named most business friendly city in L.A. County. And there's evidence to prove it as a number of businesses continue to open shop there. All new at 6.30 in this morning's Tony in Your Town. I'm taking you to Montebello's downtown corridor where it's all about progress. While the spot continues to grow and evolve, so does the city. Several new businesses are popping up in Montebello, and it's turning heads. And Montebello is getting recognized for it. In the small city category, the L.A. County Economic Development Corporation recently honored Montebello as the most business-friendly city in Los Angeles County. It's helping Mayor Georgina Tamayo step into her new role with plenty of optimism.

And really, tell our story. Let people know what Montebello is about 2026. They're amazing.

It's been an amazing year, winning the award, most business-friendly city, and also having our plans recognized by the American Planning Association. But let me tell you, we have plans to make 2026 a lot more successful for the city of Montebello. Joseph Palombis is the director of planning and community development. He says a lot of the progress stems from a new Montebello plan, updated for the first time since 1973. He's issued approximately 2,500 building permits, and really tell our story and let people know what Montebello is about. 2026 is going to be great for Montebello. It's been an amazing year, winning the award, most business-friendly city, and also having our plans recognized by the American Planning Association. But let me tell you, we have plans to make 2026 that much more successful for the city of Montebello.

We've issued approximately 2,500 building permits this year, with 30% of those permits being for commercial properties. The downtown corridor will soon see five new restaurants and a new stoplight. It's really cool. All the locals are talking about it. There's things popping up like, whoa, Montebello.

Yeah. It's so hard to count. California for businesses to begin with. It's great to see a city kind of giving you a helping hand.

We're going to have a round one coming in, a yard house coming in, so that'll be more of an entertainment as opposed to retail since we're seeing...

This week, the delegation from Montebello's sister city, Ashia, Japan arrived at Los Angeles International Airport. They were warmly welcomed by city staff, Mayor Tamayo, and members of the Montebello-Ashia Sister City Association. This visit marks another meaningful chapter in the long-standing friendship between our two cities. As part of the reception, Montebello's public affairs team conducted a special reporter-on-arrival interview with Ashia Mayor Takashima, capturing his first impressions and reflections as he begins his visit to Montebello.

So welcome to California. This week, after your journey from Japan, how are you feeling arriving here in Montebello's sister city region?

Yes, finally we came. Yes, we waited for a long time, like 10 years.

Yeah, so we're back again. Montebello and the Shia share a longstanding sister city relationship. What does this partnership mean to you personally as mayor? after his first impression and reflections as he begins his visit to Montebello.

Speaking of cultural exchange, how are you feeling arriving here in Montebello about Ashiya's culture with the people you meet during your visit?

This is the most important relationship for us.

Let's pick one. I want to go to so many places. In our region, number one is the national park. Meeting people and exchange our ideas, our cultures. Is there anything specific you heard about Montebello that you're excited to experience in person? You'll be exploring Los Angeles County this week.

What are you most looking forward to seeing or doing while you're here?

What's the best? This is why I wanted to go to so many places, but number one is the ambassadors love the food in Montebello. They exchange our ideas, our cultures, and we are creating a lasting relationship. Speaking of the student exchange, you heard about Montebello.

They've been an important part of this partnership. Why do you think programs like the student ambassadors, why do those programs matter?

Yeah, we send student ambassadors every single year. And it's a kind of foundation of our relationship. For example, Ashiya's student ambassador keeps visiting Montevero. Even after graduation. My message is very simple. Keep your connection. So we are waiting for it. Speaking of the student exchange, the ambassadors create our city's connections.

They've been an important part of this partnership. Why do you think programs like the student ambassadors, why do those programs matter that might visit Ashiya?

Because you know, we always welcome you, so please keep visiting. It's a kind of foundation of our relationship.

What would you say to encourage people to learn more about Mashiha and the Sister Cities program?

I mean, in this week, my message is very simple. That'll be the very first source. Yes. Because people-to-people connection matters. I believe there's so many alumni of Sister Cities here in Montevero. So please talk to them. Please visit our website and our social media.
