Yes, Vice Mayor, Mayor Dessome, Vice Mayor Timothy. Here. Here. Here. Here. Here. Here. Here. Here. Here.
Here. Here. to the United States, and to the Republic of America. A nation under God is a free and just country. Freedom and justice for all. Next, Madam Manager, is there anything we can do to help?
Here. Madam Manager. Thank you. Now, let's move on to a discussion. I know that the North of the Youth Council will be elected. Um, Councilman Mary Esme Irwin, do you wish to elect her? Certainly.
Um, Vice Mayor and my colleagues, and good night to everyone. Um, I am very excited about our youth and I am proud of the Council. Believe it or not, I will give it. I want our license and our library director to come to the poll base, or I want the youth to stand in front of us before this discussion. Thank you. Good night, Mayor, Council. Thank you for bringing us here as a youth council. If you don't mind, I want our youth city clerk to roll call. Move forward. No.
Youth Vice Mayor Sinclair, Youth Council Women Jess, Youth Council Women Spence, Youth Council Women Liberty. Move forward.
Thank you. And once again, Paul Biss, Library Director, Youth Council Leeson, and as you said, Councilwoman, tonight we have a special announcement from North Miami Youth Council. And when I was in my second year, and this was a very special year, and this was a year. And six of the eight students attended high school. And that's a great achievement. I will definitely miss you. And even so, please give me a ride. But you know, I will definitely love you. We spent all our time together to learn different things about poverty. Even so, unfortunately, our youth mayor could not participate tonight. But our councilwoman, our youth councilwoman from District 4, Piscar Liberty, will lead us to tonight's meeting.
Mayor, Council, Greetings. My name is Prisca Liberty, a member of the North Miami Youth Council of District 4. I am honored to serve as a representative of the North Miami Youth Council. I am honored to represent the North Miami Youth Council and to establish a law for your organization. Many of you have said it yourself. Youths are the future of this city. Tonight, I will give an instruction that will allow young people to enter the way of survival of North Miami. Our instruction is that a youth-based institution with no right to vote in the CET boards and commissions chosen by the North Miami Mayor and Council will be established. The board of directors and commissioners will participate in the regularly scheduled meetings. Even if they do not have the right to vote, they can participate in the discussions when they are accepted. It is their main duty to provide the information that can only be given to the youth, and to provide feedback and good news from a youth center. Finally, they will act as ambassadors of young people and encourage their peers to show their interest in urban development and government. To ensure the success of this conference, we have established specific requirements for youth-based organizations. Organizations of the North Miami Youth Council should act as an organization. They should be satisfied with the academic status. In addition, they need laws. To ensure that people chosen to represent the youth in North Miami are ready, the mayor and council must carry out the laws in accordance with the approval. Again, their part will be only to give advice and support. Now, let's talk about the reason behind this suggestion. This agreement has been shaped for the four main objectives. 1. By participating in the self-development of the country, the youth will be able to develop their skills and intelligence. 2. This will ensure the participation of the youth in the self-development discussions. These speeches often do not reflect our views, but make sure that our voices are heard. 3. Strengthen cooperation between the youth and the city leadership. This initiative strengthens mutual understanding and a strong community relationship. Finally, create opportunities for young people to participate. It is important to note what the youths will not do. They will not vote in the agenda. Their part is a crucial instruction. The boards will not be included in the quorum requirements. That is, the board's ability to carry out official matters will not fully affect the capacity of a youth board. They will not use the legal rights of the legal boards. They will not replace the board boards on the board. Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, Parks, Rec Commission, Library Board are included in the possible boards and commissions. They are particularly important because they directly affect the development of the society and the livelihood of young people. Through this conference, we hope to create permanent opportunities for youth representatives and to become partners in the public service and community leadership of more young residents. Today, I would like to thank the Mayor and Council for the opportunity to speak in front of you. When I reached the end of my first year at North Miami Youth Council, I thanked the Council for encouraging me to become a leader and to serve my community well. I thank you for assuring that your efforts and the words of the youth are heard and that the services provided to us are always provided to us. Thank you all. I would like to open the proposal questions for questions.
I know this is a discussion topic. But I would like to welcome a thoughtful announcement from the Youth Council of Liberta. Not like us here, all of you are in a hurry here. I know sometimes it is difficult to make a quorum. But I would like to welcome all of you for being here and for being patient. After I was elected, a board or an advisory board or a committee would be able to bring an issue. Because you can bring a discussion like you do an ordinance or an ordinance for each board in North Miami. So, for bringing this discussion and for showing what they should do to other boards, I congratulate the Youth Council and the Poll. Again, thanks to Council Vanitha. And I think the discussion will be brought to my co-operators here. Or should we open up for citizen formation and CET adornments? Is that the second item? Okay. Okay. Then, we don't have to do it unless we vote. Okay. Okay. Oh, okay. Thank you. Um, I'll bring it here in front of us. I... I congratulate you all.
You did well. Um, District 4. Again, District Representative, good job. And I know that my only wish is to show you some of the boards. But when it comes to the youth council that mainly includes women, we have a very successful women's commission and a great man named North Miami. I haven't made that commission a part of the board. Because they are very successful. They do a lot. And as far as I can say, because I have participated in some of their activities and everything, I think they have a big event coming up next month. So this is something that I put on your list. The reason. When I check out, there will be one or two young women. That would be the only thing you need to consider. Okay, then. Thank you, Youth Council, Councilwoman Liberté, for representing your co-operators. Okay, thank you for giving us an announcement. Well done. I am very proud of you. As you have heard from my co-operators, this is a discussion topic. Okay, then. You announced this in front of us. Then we will talk to our CET manager and our CET attorney and find out how to make this happen. I would like to thank all of you for your leadership. All of you here at Youth Council, I am very proud of you. You represent us well. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Please continue your hard work. Are you going to hold a conference? No. No. You are not going to hold a conference this year. But everyone else who is going to hold a conference is going to participate. I am very proud of you. And I would like to make a shameless plug that the process of application has been opened for the students, the students who are listening, and the students who are watching. And you should go online and apply. And you should talk to Paul Basel. I believe that the application process will be open until May 30. Is that correct? Yes.
May 1 to June 1. May 1 to June 1. May 1 to June 1. May 1 to June 1.
Yes, they are all my opinions tonight. Thank you. Thank you, friends. I am very proud. Thank you, Councilman. Did you have anything else? Yes. I would like to call my co-operators as Councilwoman Mayor Esther Vaughan is conducting a special event. Thank you all. Thank you to the Mayor and Council members for your support and commitment. Thank you. If I have a place as Councilwoman Mayor, I would like to come with all my colleagues. Because I'm not doing this alone. That's why they, you know, I can't do anything without them. So let's go upstairs. Okay. This is an event. Adhinapuram. Eniki idhi chaiyan kajiyilla.
Ningal. Sammadhichadini shesham. Thank you. Oh my God! You don't have to do this.
If the Youth Council can come back, please forgive us. Poland has a gift for us. Youth Council License. I know. It's very sweet. Mumma. Therefore, at this time, we will give congratulations. And I know that you have made congratulations to add the Councilman North Miami Commission for Women. I will investigate the board and introduce it as the building that North Miami CRI can afford. In addition, I would like to give the CET attorney's advice that it is possible to vote in the board. You can let us know. I know that some of them are chartered boards. They may not be able to vote. But if we can verify which boards can be included in the actual voting, then I am sure that you will sponsor this. And yes. No, this is your board. No, I wanted to make my notation. You were going to say something. Oh.
I was going to say that we will review it and come back with a good result. Okay, okay. Thank you. Next agenda is citizen forum.
I don't see anything. I know that we don't have council reports. But we will do that in the next meeting. But councilman, do you have council reports? Oh, yes. Ask the youth council. Youth council, do you have council reports? I know that you have made an announcement now. Okay. Can I make an announcement? What is the second one?
Is everything okay?
Me? Is there anyone against me?
The election has passed 300 votes. Now it is 6 minutes to 7 in the evening. Thank you. Announcements to the opposition. Yes. You have done a great job.
